Excellent Rocket- Simple Build
I got this rocket because I wanted to have a relatively cheap 2-stage that can fit D-size motors. I received the kit very quickly and I was able to put it together in about 1.5hrs. I decided to paint it different colors from suggested so I went with green/silver. If you're not familiar with these 2-stage rockets, you will need to buy both a XX-0 (X is any letter/number) booster stage as well as a normal motor (it will show you how to put them together in the instructions). For my first flight, I used a D12-0 Booster and a C11-5 Single Stage. Remember that you can't load standard motors (A,B,C under 11) into this rocket because the mount is too large for standard motors. Also make sure that you have a friend with you to track your first stage after it separates from the rest of the rocket. Overall, it's a great rocket that can fly really high. I'm very happy with it.

Good solid two stager
I recently got back into model rockets and this is the first multi-stage rocket I had built and flown since I was a teenager. It was easy to assemble and soars with two D engines in it. You will need a *very* large area to recover this one. I had two launches on it, the second launch was unrecoverable as it caught a breeze up at 1800'-2000' and floated far beyond recovery range. Our launch area was about 1000'x1750' before the trees crept in.I deviated a bit on the instructions, I used the bottom engine mount on the top stage to slot into the booster stage I glued it so that half of the mount was protruding. Slide it into the booster stage and sanded it so that it wasn't snug to ensure a clean separation. It had a really nice solid flight straight up, no instability. I'll likely get another one, but I'll be launching it in a larger area.

awesome rocket
The media could not be loaded. this is a great product overall. I haven't yet finished it, but I am for sure that this rocket is a real Blast of FUN for kids and adults!!! If you are lokking for a great educational project, THIS IS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I woul totally reccomend this rocket for experianced rocket builders only though. Warning, this is a tougher rocket to build, so please purchase skill level 1 rockets first. Another warning, this is an extremely powerful rocket and IT WILL GO HIGH!!! YOU WILLL NEED A VERY LARGE FIELD!!!Thats all i have to say!!! have a ton of fun with this rocket, you will love it!!!

I think we need a bigger field....
I got this rocket looking for a really high flier--hoping I could launch it even once and get it back. I don't believe that the C size engines that this was designed for are available any more, but it flies great with a D12-0 booster and D12-5 upper stage (or just the D12-5 single stage).Be aware that this rocket does go very very high. The booster isn't difficult to track visually, but the upper stage just *disappears*. I launched it with almost zero wind, and with the parachute recovery being a little on the slow side, I was able to get it back (a couple minutes later--it finally landed) after it drifted about 200-300 ft. It was absolutely fantastic!!Cautions:Get a big field. Trust me.Do not launch in any kind of wind--even 5 mph is too much.Get lots of people to help you track the rocket. The rocket is standard rocket construction and easy to build. Mine turned out *identical* to the pictures. Worth every penny.

Kit works great!
I've launched this rocket 3 times so far and all three launches went off perfect. The rocket was not too hard to assemble and is consistent with other level 2 kits. With two D engines the rocket has a lot of altitude and hang time.

One thing I liked best about this rocket was my ability to stack ...
One thing I liked best about this rocket was my ability to stack a E engine on a D booster and get some very dramatic altitude. Definitely need wide open spaces for that.
