Comfortably soft for inserting
Nice and soft as in not hitting or snapping open when fitting. Cute color that discolors after a year, though not heavily. Mine was missing and found years later at my sibling's, and I was happy someone was using it.

and Super Jennie is the 2nd one that I purchased
I'm new to menstrual cups... I only started using them a few months ago, and Super Jennie is the 2nd one that I purchased. I now own 5 in total (purchased in this order: Meluna classic small, Super Jennie small, Meluna classic medium, Natural Momma, and Eva cup small). I love the Super Jennie, and it's the one that I use the most. For me, it's the easiest one to get a good, leak-free seal. I haven't had any problems getting it open, and the only leaks that I've had were when the cup was completely full and overflowing.Pros:- Very comfortable, soft material.- Easy to fold, easy to get in.- Great capacity. The small is about 32 mL. Somebody only pointed out that the small SJ is like a "small and a half" of most other brands, and the large SJ is like a "large and a half" compared to other brands. This was a deciding factor in me trying it, I really needed the extra capacity, but didn't want a huge cup.- For me, I haven't had any problems with leaking or the seal. It's like magic... I don't know how it does it, but as long as I get it open (which hasn't been hard), it seems to automatically seal itself correctly. I'm comparing it to my small and medium Melunas, which I initially loved, but after a month or so, began to have problems sealing and lots of leaks.Cons:- I have a lot of trouble getting it out. The stem is tiny, very stretchy, and hard to get a hold of. The whole thing is slippery. It positions itself pretty high up (for me, anyway), so that I can't easily grab it. I nearly gave up on it because of this... despite "bearing down", I've had some really awful moments of just not being able to get the thing out. With the Melunas, the stem is less stretchy - so I can use that to walk the cup down a bit lower, until I can reach the base. That does not work at all for me with the SJ, because the very stretch stem just stretches, it doesn't actually pull the cup down any lower.Tips for removal:- After much reading and watching YouTube videos, I realized that you HAVE TO actually grab the base (and it's quite slippery). When they say "pinch it" - it's more like, grab it and crunch it as much as you can. Then, use that to try to walk the cup down while working your fingers up to try to create an air channel to the top of the cup (hard to do!) and grab/collapse the top (slightly easier.) I'm sure this will get easier with more practice, but as I said, I almost gave up on this cup b/c getting it out was originally so hard. It's been easier now that I have a better idea of what to do.If you try it, give it a couple cycles. I bought several cups after this one, b/c of the difficulty with removal, before I figured out that any cup that has a good seal will be hard to remove. I could have saved some money if I had figured this out sooner (as I don't really need/use the last 2 cups that I purchased).BTW - check out the Super Jennie site. I think the prices can vary between Amazon and SJ, so you might find a better deal in one place or the other. Plus, I found a coupon on the SJ site that could be used on Amazon. And, finally, SJ didn't ask me to do a review or offer me any incentives. :-) I just think the cup is pretty awesome!

Pretty good cup for women with low cervix
I'm an experienced menstrual cup user on the search for my goldilocks cup post-baby. My cervix is very low now; the postpartum sizes of most cups are way too big. I also have some mild pelvic floor issues. The combination of both has meant that many cups simply fall out of my body! But I couldn't go back to tampons. The super jennie is the best that I've found so far. The packaging and social media angles are cute, and I liked the colors. More importantly, the smaller size fits well into my body--WHEN TURNED INSIDE OUT. The silicon is firm enough that it usually opens easily, though sometimes I need to try a few times to get it just right. I like the idea of the measurements on the sides, though it's not easy to read when turned inside out. I did have a few leaks at the beginning of my cycle, but nothing too bad. This is to be expected when you use a smaller cup inside out (further reducing the capacity) with a postpartum flow.I really like this cup! I do wish they'd consider adding a shorter stemless version for women with a low cervix so turning inside out was not necessary and so we could use the capacity indicators.

Great comfy cup for a high cervix and heavy periods!
I'm in my 40's but I'm petite (5'2 and small framed) and haven't had kids, so I chose the small size. This was my first foray into menstrual cups, and I did A LOT of reading up - so many good sites out there to help one choose! This cup ticked a lot of boxes: 1, Large volume for my heavy periods, check. 2, A good fit for a wide range of women with an unobtrusive stem, check. (I knew I didn't have a particulalry low cervix, but wasn't sure exactly where I fell in the range - discovered how to figure that out later.) 3, Soft but firm, comfortable by most reviewers' accounts. Because, you know, trying these things out for the first time is a little scary and I wanted it to be as easy on me as possible.Got the cup and actually waited a couple cycles to get brave enough to wear it, after two botched insertion attempts. I came home from the bar one night and, after a couple whiskeys, decided I was going to figure this thing out! So, I got it in easiest using the punch down fold, it popped open, found its place, and man was it comfy! I wiggled around, moved my pelvis around, couldn't feel the stem at all! The crampiness I'd felt earlier even seemed to have gone away - how cool! I was so proud of myself! Went to bed and slept all night with no problems, no leaking, perfect! Then, I went to remove it. Turns out I have quite a high cervix - it had slid up farther than I thought and I could barely even touch the stem! I contorted myself all kinds of ways and couldn't get a grip on it, tried until my vision started getting fuzzy and I had to lay down - I guess I was hyperventilating. So, I lay there for about twenty minutes, calmed myself down and then tried again, this time doing a full squat in the bath tub. Not the most convenient or graceful maneuver, but it worked - I could reach the bottom of the cup. I wasn't quite satisfied with that, and considered trying a longer cup, or the larger Super Jennie, but wasn't pleased with the prospect - in all other ways it was perfect! Then I FINALLY figured out the trick later that day. I read somewhere that it helps to bear down, like you're going to have a bowel movement. Sure enough, it was then easy to remove over the toilet with a good push - I'm able to grab the bottom of the cup and just pinch to break the seal. No sweat. Thank goodness.Long (and somewhat graphic) story, but basically, there's quite a bit of a learning curve to using these things, and it's okay to feel a little scared but don't let it stop you from trying one - it's not going to get lost in you or anything like that! I absolutely love this cup. It's comfortable and the perfect size, and it spares me many trips to the ladies room. I can wear it all night with a cloth pad for back-up, even on my heaviest days, and I don't leak. Overnight leaking was a huge problem for me, to the point where I was sleeping on top of towels. It's also a fantastic feeling to not be throwing all those feminine hygiene products in the trash. I use with cloth liners and have had no issues. Periods are so much more pleasant. I only wish I'd started using a cup earlier.
