K2 Plus works great with the suction line assuming a small adjustment.
I was looking for something to clean up the boat while in the dock 8 months a year. After not finding anything really targeting itself for this task I bought the K2 Plus along with the suction hose. I had spoken to a retail outlet that said they had not received favorable comments regarding the suction hose. My experience is contrary to that although have a couple of comments. I placed the unit on the dock (stored in the dock locker room). Hooked up the hoses and hit problem #1. The sunction hose (filter end) floated near the surface. Bad for operation. I tied a rock to the end of it and dropped it in again and problem was solved. It should be weighted to work correctly. Second issue was that there was a foot drop from the deck to the water. With the weighted end this now caused the hose to kink as it entered the unit. Had to occassionally straighten this out. I will place a 2x4 on its side next time to cause the hose to more gradually come off the unit and then bend to the angle required to sink in the water. Common sense but make sure the water is deep enough to not let the filter drop into the muck on the bottom of the shore (Our dock has deep water underneath so no issue for us but could be if you don't think it through. The transport handle comes off easily (to the extent of being a hazard to dropping the unit if held wrong). I suggest tying a rope around the pump unit in case it goes overboard while you are pulling on the wand/hose. Overall I was very pleased with the operaton of the unit and the job it does. Hope this helps someone. It is like having a private car wash to clean the boat yet not having to trailor and haul it out once a month.

Handy for most single story homes and uses.
We had this same model in Australia and worked the bejeezers out of it. The US version is lacking a few things in comparison:It lacks a detergent tank (standard on overseas models) and is not available here in US from their site. You can find it with a seller on EBay (~30.00 +shipping), worth the buy when doing windows or car. The siphon tube is too short to be of benefit and with out the tank - it just hangs there (no place to store or secure it).You only get two wand heads - there okay for light to light/medium cleaning at easy angles. Again, overseas more selection of wands (like the vario 360 and splash guard). If looking to get high/higher windows; this is too short and Karcher (US) does not offer extension segments. We purchased a Selkie extension kit (with various tips and angled heads) and a Mingle Pressure Washer adapter - absolutely worth the investment. Both Karcher nozzles lacked the force to take some stubborn algae off brickwork. Put a 25-40 degree 1/4” tip (Selkie) came right off.We like it, it is just lacking some accessories the we had to go to third party to get it right. Even with the extension kit and adapter, it was still cheaper than many other brands and models.

Karcher still makes a great pressure washer.
I purchased this pressure washer to replace the Karcher unit I had previously purchased in June, 2003 also from Amazon. It last 17 years doing homeowner cleaning projects. This model has the same water pressure rating as the older unit but is less than half the weight and about half the size. The various spray wands I purchased back in 2003 can still be used with this model. Unfortunately the hoses now have quick release nozzles so I couldn’t keep my older 25ft extension for the new unit. I also like that there is a molded hook to hang the electric cable, a slot to store the spray gun and two slots for storing wands. This is a nice replacement pressure washer for my older model. By-the-way, my old unit must have developed a short circuit in the motor because it kept popping the circuit breaker in my distribution panel. Sine it was 17 years old it is not worth attempting to have it repaired. This model K2 Ergo was about $50 cheaper than the one I purchased in 2003.

a nice surprise. Power is adequate for home use -- ...
Just got my unit yesterday -- unpacking and putting together wheels, handle and quick connect fittings took perhaps 5 minutes. I am positively surprised by how much you get for $109 -- the unit is rather quiet, a nice surprise. Power is adequate for home use -- I will need it to clean concrete prior to patching. I tried it also on wicker furniture (turns gray wicker back to nice tan, the grime is gone) and on my grungy sidewalk (turns discolored concrete back to fresh and clean). If you can afford to spend a little more time on your cleaning projects (the amount of water with the 1.25 gpm rating is not like with bigger machines), I would guess you get the same amount of work done, but with a fraction of the investment, and a compact and easy-to-store unit. It's a great deal for occasional jobs. The two wands are a nice deal, the rotary one does work very well. I see some of the comments state issues on durability -- considering price and amount of work it will hopefully get done, I still think it's a bargain.

Not that great and annoying
I liked initially but realizing the pain of not being quick connect and karcher having its own proprietary garbage attachments. Apprently 2010 they changed the way they do it which was ok and i had an old one so decided to get another karcher and they changed everything. Prior attachments dont work. And again no quick connect. My dads ryobi one was far more easy to use and had everything and i ordered attachments easily. I dont even see any adapters for this newer variant nozzle. The old (pre 2010) had a bunch, but this new one doesnt have squat. Wish i could return. I used twice last year and getting around to trying again, and realziing all this. Extremely disappointed man

Water leakage than GFCI stopped working.
Just after using few times it's pressure was lost because of a crack in internal nozzle. I got it online and replaced so it started working again. Than after few months GFCI stopped working. Now I am again looking for online aftermarket replacement GFCI
