I absolutely love the Koi Henley top so I gave this pants ...
So I bought these in hopes of finding my next go to pants scrubs. I absolutely love the Koi Henley top so I gave this pants a shot to match.Good things:Fabric is nice and thick. The waste is elastic all around. Makes wearing it comfortable. Lots of pockets if you're a pocket person. Has an inner nonslip lining that prevents shirts from sliding out or pants sliding down. Bottom of the pants has an elastic string if you want to tighten up the pants opening.Bad things:They put alot of thought into it but it didn't work out for me. While the inner nonslip lining was an awesome idea, I tighten the waist of the pants when I wear them. The drawstring and the inner nonslip inner lining don't line up so the shirt barely makes any contact with it. The fabric is nice but it does pick up lint. Though I don't have to use a lint brush often you can definitely pick stuff up. After a few wash, you can get that fur where you rub your hand over it, it'll get lighter/darker. There's a left loop on the left leg where a cargo pants would have been. This is utterly useless. I would have preferred a pocket. The right cargo pocket on the right leg is nice but I found it low and had to bend down farther to get to it. Velcro on the rear butt pockets which can be annoying if you want to slip things in and out. I don't really use the elastic string at the bottom of the pants so it doesn't do anything for me.Fit:I wear Landau's ripstop pants for years so imma compare the fit to that. First, I am 34 waist, 29 length, 5'8", 230 lbs. I usually wear medium pants in every scrub but the Amazon size chart told me to get large. So I end up buying Large short then bought Medium short. Large was way too big for a 34 waist. That elastic plays a big part. The waste on the medium was perfect for 34. However, since I do have bigger thighs, medium was a little snug around the thighs. It is definitely snugger than Landau's ripstop. It wasn't horrible. I would have worn it if I didn't anticipate lots of bending and kneeling. So I stuck with the Large. However, the Large is too roomy. I anticipate I'd need to sew and fit it a little to make it work for me.Overall:I didn't like the pocket placements. I didn't like the fit. Landau's ripstop still works better for me. I end up just using these as backups.

Not just for men or for the healthcare field
Well I am a curvy woman and I work as a merchandiser for a soda company. The thick cardboard pants they provide are impossible to work in and I have worked in the healthcare field before so I immediately got some scrub pants. The woman's pants often only have the drawstring option which gets knotted so tight after working for a while they are a pain to get off to use the restroom. The men's pants come with a regular button and zipper plus a wide draw string so it doesn't get knotted up so tight. 2 back pockets plus the cargo pocket is perfect for all my supplies I have to carry. I 100% only plan to buy these in the future.

I love Koi! They are perfect!
I got a Large-Tall and they fit perfectly. I usually like a looser fit around the waist but with that said they do fit and aren't tight. I just ordered 2 more pair in an X-Large Tall for the looser fit around the waist. Koi are my all-time favorite now. I order mens because womens will never fit me in the length. I'm 6 foot and all legs. The X-Large tall are bigger in the waist than i expected but tightening the drawstring fixed it. The legs seemed longer but maybe that was because they were looser. Either way I prefer the Large Tall for the fit but also prefer the X-Large Tall for those days I want loose fitting scrubs.

My New Favorites
I've been in healthcare for over 20 years. In that time I've tried almost every brand. These are the most comfortable scrub pants I've owned. The pocket placement, elastic, knee stitching, drawstring cuffs, double stitching, and loop are impressive features. I'm 5'10" and 187lbs.The fit is spot on. I only miss a left cargo pocket. That's my paper/junk/stethoscope pocket and I keep dropping stuff. See my review for the tops, they add 6 pockets to the set. I'm ordering 3 more sets. They fit like a tailored suit.

Nice scrubs but does not remain snug around the waist
Overall a good feeling scrub with a nicely tapered fit. However, the waist after the first wash no longer hangs properly on me but rather now slides loosely on my body. Even with the rubberized friction band on the inside, the pants just don't stay on well at the waist. The cord loosens up unless I double knot it, which reduces convenience in the bathroom. This has never been a problem with my Carhartt scrubs after many washes. Overall a nice pant but the securement problem takes a lot away from these scrubs pants.

Quality, soft, durable scrubs
Although slightly roomier than most premium fitted scrubs Koi Coby tops have some of the best features around.Pros:Tons of pockets of various sizes (back, side leg, side)Multiple closures for pockets such as velcro and buttonElastic cinches on the ankles and the waistHeavy weight while still breathable fabricCons:Slightly baggyI honestly have tried multiple "designer/premium" scrubs and these are my favorite. They are quality, soft fabric that looks nice after many washes. I had iguanamed, dickies, and cherokee in the past. These are by far my favorite. I started with one pair because I'm tall (6' 2") and the pant legs on the iguanamed were too short and i ended up buying 5 more pairs because the Koi were so much better than expected.

the selection of pockets and loops is excellent. But the thing I like best about these ...
I have been using Carhart and Cherokee scrubs and will replace them with these. The rear pocket of the Cherokees was too small to hold a wallet. The rear pocket of these will not let your wallet go, as there is a velcro closure. Overall, the selection of pockets and loops is excellent. But the thing I like best about these is that the fabric is far softer and more comfortable than the others and drapes naturally. Construction is superb, as it is with the Carharts, but the comfort level makes the choice simple.

Nice pants but...
They ran a tad big for me. I am a 36-38 waist depending on pants and the XL was too big so I exchanged them for the large. Overall they are nice one issue m, which most of you won’t have, is I carry keys on my side and my key holder quickly put a hole in these at the waist line. Material is thin which is nice for comfort but a tad too thin for my type of nursing work.

Lots of features but not always that functional
I did return this product for poor fit and features that didn't match my needs, so I can only comment on initial impressions and fit.I'm 5'5 and quite slim, normally wearing 29x30 jeans. The small/short is still too big, both in the waist and inseam. Even wearing these pants higher above my hips than I'd like, the pant legs almost trail along the floor. It has a full draw string around the waist, but I was having to use the drawstring to completely hold up the pants and it felt insecure. The drawstring is also on the outside and I prefer them to be inside. As mentioned in another review on .com, the silicon piping inside the waist to keep shirts tucked is a nice thought, but if you're having to use the drawstring to keep the pants up, the waist band isn't going to be properly contacting your body and therefore won't be able to hold a tucked in shirt anyways. Probably if you managed to find a fit that works perfectly for your waist/hips, this wouldn't be a problem. The pant legs around the ankles have a drawstring that lets you narrow the leg openings. This could theoretically be used to compensate for inseams that are too long by forcing the pants to bunch up higher on your ankle, but I hate pants that tighten around the ankles with elastics or drawstrings; I find it uncomfortable and I don't think it looks great either. The upper pockets are very deep and very roomy which is great, and the right cargo pocket has two additional pockets, one of which seems to be dedicated to bandage shears (not a huge fan, it'll probably fall out when you're bending/squatting). There is no left cargo pocket, which is annoying. Under the left upper pocket they've attached a plastic loop. No idea why, it's far too low and off to the side to use as a badge holder. There's a fabric band between the right front and back pocket that seems to have very limited functionality. Maybe for a kelly forceps/tape/scissor setup? The material seems nice though. Soft, and with a nice feel and weight: not too light and not too heavy.Fit aside, it's nice to see scrubs that break from the standard with added features, but these ones just don't work for me at all. They're also quite expensive. It's a shame since I really like the styling and shape.
