Great, though pricey!
Amazing for portraits! For the price it should come with a battery and charger.

Really a very good tool. Performs as its is designed.
This really is a great tool I have four of these at my work I got for video and live production work. Handy. Not sure how they might take a drop to the concrete or hard floor however. What they need for the generation #2 series:Charge the battery you buy for it. Then all you need is battery, when operating off of a AC adapter should charge at least when unit is off.The display panel should not have a Manfrotto/Litepanels boot up screen. Turn on and instantly see the percentage of amber to bluer clear LEDs.More robust battery lock. I think this one might break.Lastly the next model should show color temperature mix along with/ and or with the warm cool percentage mix. Otherwise you are having to go to camera sensor pickup process settings to measure this stuff. Just more hoops. If you set a * kelvin factor off the get go, you can set your video or still cameras faster too. (with out having to use the $100 wireless control dongle for iPhones/andrids).Waterproof construct it to a IP67.And for the price you should get all this with out it jumping to $200 more. Maybe thrown in a Manfrotto Logo red candy sucker for it too.(Could be a little smarter) However beats pants off Lowel blender for light output.Camera batteries on board are a good add. You get about 4 hours running on 30% power. (for video work)

I found this lamp very useful and practical
I found the Manrotto LED lamp very usefulI like :- It is dimable- It can go from 3000 to 5600 Kelvin gradually- Lightweight- It comes with a practical omnihead- You can use a battery or an AC power sourceI really found very practical por video and photo.I compared it to the Westcott Icelight2 and even though the IL2 is a bit more powerful (in specs) i felt more comfortable with this panel.
