I am a cotton thermal blanket lover. Have used them for at least 30 years. This blanket is a great one and I will buy more. Coral is more of an orange coral. So brighter than most corals. If you want a pastel Coral color, this is not it. Washed and dried it prior to using. Shrinks slightly but I expect that. Yes, you will get lint. That is normal for any cotton thermal. I don’t care how much you pay….I have bought all different brands and some $$$. All of them shrink (they are 100% cotton) and you will have lint pretty much every time you dry. I dry on medium or low heat. I always buy 1 size up. Queen bed…I do King, for the Full size…I do queen. These are the best for summer and winter. If you suffer from hot flashes…you will love these types of blankets. Toss away the top sheet, cover with one of these and you will be amazed at how hot flashes be damned. For the price, I recommend this brand and I know I will be buying more. These are a lighter weight cotton thermal…if you want a slightly heavier cotton thermal, you will need to do one that has a different weave.

Mine came with a few loose threads and smelled like it had been washed, but that is fine. I bought it used-like new. After washing it again, I spread it out on the bed. I have a full size mattress with a topper. The blanket says queen. It's rectangular, so it's either longer on the sides, or the top and bottom. I have it longer on the sides. It reaches the bed frame on both sides. It drapes like a heavy tablecloth. I have a thin bedspread over it because it's still chilly at night where I live. During the warmer months, this will be good to use alone, when you want more than just the sheets. It's breathable cotton and doesn't seem to snag easily. I wouldn't pay full price for it, and I would go a size up from your mattress size too. It is exactly the type of blanket I wanted, it's not fuzzy and cozy, just a good spring/summer blanket.

I absolutely LOVE these blankets. I got one off my wish list for Christmas (King,sage color) and I sleep with that one all of the time no matter the temperature. When it's hot they help absorb moisture to keep you dry and cool and when it's cold they layer under another blanket and keep you warm. They also have a decent weight to them which helps my sensory issues. I got a second off my wishlist for my birthday (king size, Forest green) and my child kept asking for one when they came to lay with me in the morning so I ordered them their own (queen size, purple).They have all three washed and dried well and they hang dry or dry in the dryer with no issues and no shrinkage or fading.

I live in AZ but still like a light cover over my sheet at night even in the summer. I have a great Pendleton quilt but it's very tightly woven and just too hot to sleep under in the summer. I put this blanket between the sheet and the quilt for making the bed and it looks perfect....but I can roll the quilt off the end of the bed on hot nights and just use the sheet and light blanket for sleeping. I can also use the blanket as an extra layer on cool nights. Well made and washed well.

This is a wonderful summer weight blanket. I purchased two twin sized blankets to cover our split king bed. They are long enough to pull to the top of the bed yet still give enough at the bottom to tuck. Enough weight to give comfort but not so heavy to be too warm. THIS IS IMPORTANT! - Washed them in cold water then used the delicate cycle to dry them for 48 minutes before using them. No shrinkage, color stayed the same. These are not fluffy, super soft blankets. They ARE cotton (like hospital blankets) and well made. They must be washed in cold water and dried gently or they will shrink.

This blanket is exactly what I was looking for and I think if you really understand what a pure cotton blanket is before purchasing, you will have no issue. With respect to some of the negative reviews, I agree the description is misleading when it describes the blanket as "soft." A pure cotton blanket is not going to be soft - at least not in the traditional sense. The blanket has some stiffness to it, and it has some weight to it though I would not say it is heavy by any means. It is thin, as I'd expect it to be - and in combination with the weight, this provides warmth in cooler months and stays breathable in warmer months (this is why I like, and the reason I buy, cotton blankets). In response to reviews that said the blanket is more like a tablecloth... it is not that thin, truly - but don't expect to receive a soft, fluffy blanket because that is not what this is. It is, as some reviewers have stated, very much like a hospital blanket.Details and Measurements, for reference: I ordered the blanket in white and it is pure white. I make this point because another reviewer ordered white and described what was received as ecru. I assume that must have been a mix up with the shipment because what I received is definitely a true white. The blanket did not pill after washing, and I did not find significant lint in the dryer lint trap.I'm using this blanket in a guest room and if the description is correct and the blanket is supposed to measure 90X90, it's either off, or it shrunk when I washed it. Note - I did NOT follow the instructions (must be washed in cold water, gentle cycle, as much water as possible). The blanket, after washing in warm water with other items and tumble drying low, measures about 92X82. The queen size mattress I'm using it on is about 10" high and the blanket falls about 12" from the top of the mattress on either side. It falls about 16" from the top of the mattress at the foot of the bed, enough for me to tuck in securely. So I think it works fine and I'm happy with it. That said, I purchased the same blanket in gray for another guest room with a queen bed, so I will measure the blanket before and after I wash it, and this time I will follow the instructions to see if it makes any difference and update this review accordingly.One comment about Utopia - I received an email thanking me for my purchase, offering tracking information for the item, and requesting that if there was any reason I would not rate the item as 5 stars, to please let them know and they would try to make it right. This blanket is made from a finer strand of cotton, which provides for a tighter weave, particularly in this pattern. So, no snags or pulled threads! (My old blanket had a loose, jacquard weave and things would easily snag on it.) After the first wash & dry, there was very little lint in the dryer lint trap. In spite of the fabric softener, the blanket was at first quite stiff. Through everyday use over this past month, though, it has softened and become more comfy. Although the blanket is quite thin, the very tight weave makes it warm enough to use as a blankie while not being uncomfortably heavy. So far, I'm very pleased with the quality.

Awesome blanket, shipped quickly. Not as soft as I thought, but it feels like linen so it’s nice and warm.

Bought this for a light warm covering after a knee operation. It is beautiful made entirely of cotton covering a king size bed comfortably. It is light and natural so just what I wanted and I will leave it on as an extra covering in the winter months. Very good value for money. However I haven’t washed it yet so it may shrink. It was delivered within a day through Prime so I am delighted !

Love that this is cotton - not fluffy - not polyester or fleecy - not creating static - not quilted - not padded like eiderdowns just plain cotton with slight pattern in the weave. Difficult to describe the weight for those only used to wool or synthetic products as cotton not available much now - hospital blanket is correct - other nearest would be heavy linen like old fashioned cooking apron. Some cushions are covered in this type of material. 2 or 3 would be perfect to replace a duvet. 1 could go over duvet for extra weight. Covers a double bed with plenty to spare top, bottom and sides. Have not found any others of such a good size and such a low price. Bought one then another. Brown nice deep colour. Would have liked other options too. White not practical for me.

I like that it made of cotton, very breathable and comfortable. Not too heavy, not too light, just warm enough. I have never liked a blanket this much. I have a double bed and I ordered the twin size and it is perfect. I find the queen size is usually too big for my bed. I sleep alone mind you.
