Universal for VIZIO Smart TV Remote Control Replacement XRT136

My vizio TV remote has been falling apart slowly, and I held on to it for a while, until one day the tape and glue that I've been saving it with, just couldn't hold it together anymore. I found the same remote control on Amazon for a reasonable price. The buttons functionality on the old remote control was gone. I had to press two or three times before it works. This is what happens when you have big family at home. I used to have this TV all to myself because I was the only one who could handle the broken remote control. We have two other televisions in the house, but the vizio is the largest. Now my monopoly over the TV is gone because of the new remote control. This is a great remote control, and I am glad that the TV is back to a normal working condition again.

After my new puppy chewed up my remote, I had to buy a new one. This one was perfect. Paired up nicely with my tv. Durability and design are perfect. Everything worked as needed and was easy to set up.

Works. We have to point it at the receiver which can be annoying, but it’s better than paying $100 for one from Samsung

My original VIZIO remote bit the dust so I settled on this after shopping around for awhile. The main thing I like about this is that is seems to work better than the factory provided remote did. The factory remote had trouble communicating with the TV on a consistent basis. This one has better range too I think.

The voice function DOES work! If you have a newer Samsung TV than press and hold the back button (left arrow) and the play button together for 5 seconds and it will pair to your TV. Then you simply select Bixby or Alexa voice assistant. I chose Bixby and voice function works perfectly.

Pretty good controller. Second row of buttons (Vudu, Netflix, and Amazon) never get used and cause problems “digging out” when they are inadvertently pushed. Better if they just had a blank row.An easily accessible mute button would be a nice feature.
