I bought this because it was 100 percent metal, no abs plastics. I have suffered for 4 years off and on with breathing issues after I shower and hives. I thought as many people do that it was the water that was the problem. Turns out I have mast cell activation syndrome And one of my triggers is plastics. I figured out the shower problem as when I took a bath I was fine, but showering would cause me to feel like I had too much co2 in my lungs for about 3 hours after. I took a chance that this would solve my problem and it is 100 percent solved with this shower head. This may seem uncommon to you, but I think plastics are much more hazardous to people with over active immune systems. They are classified as xenoestrogens, or fake estrogens. Do you know how they figured out bps in plastics was hazardous? The men working in the manufacturing plants grew breasts!

Handheld shower assembly was easy to connect without tools as advertised. The shower head, hose and mount bracket were well packaged and the washers secured. Hand tightened all three connections and no leaks. Teflon tape was also supplied to attach the bracket to the supply arm. Shower handle fits securely into the mounting bracket. I also added an additional suction type shower head holder on the wall to allow easier access for a short elderly person. Shower head fit OK into the secondary holder. Time will tell if this shower assembly performs over time. Price point on the high side but will be worth if the lifetime warranty is honored. A bonus " nice to have " feature would be to have a pause or on off button on the handle to give the user greater flexibility. In the future maybe?

Beautiful and solid design, has just a touch less pressure than would be preferable, but is still plenty enough to be a pleasant shower experience. Only issue is the design choice to 'restrict' the flow with the strange narrowing of the handle right before the chamber behind the nozzles. Feel like this tiny adjustment (Why not make it even to the head?) reduces the pressure of the water just a touch, which creates a sort of weakened rainfall effect.Other than that tiny issue (Of which most will be fine with, may even prefer, so don't let review detour you) this is an amazing shower system. All pieces were included, assembled by hand easily, and the flow constrictor was easily removed, (speaking about the plastic piece in the base of unit, not the one in handle's design)I would 100% recommend this showerhead system to anyone seeking an alternative to buying a new shower every 6 months because that one stupid piece of plastic breaks.Excellent quality and value. (Paid 72 for chrome version)

I have used many name brands of shower heads. Living in a rural area with hard water, previous shower heads didn't take long to get clogged due to the small orifices and cleaning them was a chore. The hammerhead product is different, the holes are larger and the rubber tips clean better than others I have installed. Even with the larger holes the water stream is excellent.I have read some reviews complaining that the head breaks when dropped to the bottom of the shower, really? Some care would have prevented this and if one is prone to dropping the head, getting a shorter hose so it doesn't reach the bottom would be the solution.I will recommend the hammerhead to all of my friends and family. It may be more expensive than other brands, but you get what you pay for, a quality product.

When they started making plastic showers 20 years ago, it felt fancy.But very soon you'd realize that they were not better. They were cheap, disposable products that were not pleasant to use and required frequent replacements. Even prime brands switched to plastic junk.It seems the maker of this shower head was fed up with the lack of quality shower heads on the market.It is all metal. It is a very solid build. Anti-calc rubber nozzles produce very pleasant sprays, you can finally feel you are actually in a shower again.Buy this for all your bathrooms and never go back. I'm super happy, and I wish the maker of this shower head every success in his business!
