Awesome value
My favorite helmet, fits me like a glove. When compared to an Arai modular it is noticably less impressive everything on the Arai is bulkier and more solid, but this LS2 works just as well for a fraction of the price.

Great value, oval shape!
A better choice for folks with oval shaped heads. My forehead would hurt after a few hours in the saddle. This helmet offers all the amenities (modular, sun visor, good ventilation, quick release chin strap, ear pockets for coms, which I use) at a great price, plus oval shape.

Best Mod helmet you can get! Especially for the price.
I ordered the 3XL because my noggin is huge. Fits pretty darn good. It's hard to find a helmet that actually fits in the first place. Even harder to find one that doesn't break the bank. But for $150 I seriously love it. Most the other sizes were 100-140$$ really good price for what you get. Love the all metal latching. Super secure. The sun gaurd flap down is good for vision. It's not too tinted. But definitely kills the Ray's of light that would blind you on the road. But beware, I don't think it's polarized. Went on a 3 hour ride and got burnt (I'm white) still. Everything you're hoping for in a helmet. With the modular it makes it easy to put on and take off. Buy it while you can!

Does what is supposed to do.
Not the fanciest nor most stylish helmet on the market but if you have a "long oval head" (longer front to back than it is ear to ear) then you need one of the few helmets made that won't pinch your forehead and give you a headache. This fit me perfectly. It's a bit noisy but nothing that a good pair of earplugs won't fix, it is modular after all and they are all a bit noisier than full face helmets. This is just the ticket for me and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend it.

The ls2. Not a bad buy, if you know what you're getting.
I've had this roughly 3 months now, and plenty of time using it. I'm happy enough for nowProsThe modular part of the helmet is flawless. Not a ton of wind noise for the moneySpeaking of, fantastic value. Especially usedConsThis is a heavy helmet. I don't mind myself. But be prepared for longer ridesThe sizing. I don't know what others are thinking. I'm typically a xl helmet size. But i went xxl just in case. It's still a wee bit too small. So id buy two sizes larger. So I ended up cutting and melting some of the strafoam inside so it'd fit and you could put a headset in. So now it's not too bad! Still a wee bit too snug. I bought used for 50$. and wasn't about to spend 10$ in return shipping to then buy a xxxl for 150$. I figured until something major fails, I'll keep it.Just buy the 50$ 'pinlock like' insert. Doesn't matter if you run it summer or cold. Just buy it. It's practically unusable if you close the two vents because it fogs so fast. Now with them open, it's okay. Now you see all the cons and probably think, nah. But really it's not a bad helmet. Id make sure you can return it, as it's more Chinese sizing.

A two ride initial review.
I just received this helmet today. It was packaged well and no damaged observed. Two plastic stickers peal right off the shield and goggle. I wear an XL full face and ordered this as an XL as well. It fit like a glove! I absolutely like the ratchet chin strap! The drop down shaded goggle is a super nice touch and very simple to operate via a sliding lever on the left side of the helmet. The clear shield feels sturdy yet easy enough to open and shut. I can feel a some air when I open the front vent completely at hiway speed. Its not overwhelming. There are two settings for the front vent. There is a piece of material on the front that stretches under your chin to keep unwanted air out. It does not interfere with overall comfort. The face of the helmet comes right up when you press the release button. I am able to keep my glasses on when putting on and taking off the helmet. Thats a major bonus for those who wear glasses. Finally for my test ride, I wore my Bose noise cancelling in-the-ear headphones. Again, they stayed in putting on and taking off the helmet. With the helmet completely shut and the noise cancelling on, I was able to enjoy music very clearly up to around 70mph. Anything beyond that and I'd start to hear some "popping" from the noise cancelation feature. With noise cancelling off, there was a lot of road noise and thought I could still hear the music, I did have the volume maxed out. The helmet itself does not look oversized. Overall I am thinking this was a good purchase and Ill be enjoying a lot of riding time with this helmet.
