it is thinner than a soda can, but thicker than the thickest aluminum you can buy at the grocery store. We used it to draw on so we could create fake "masks" for a school project. It was very pliable to draw lines into it with a fingernail or sharp object.

Is this the foil that you can place on a wall, rub it, and the foil color remains on the wall?

No, this is thicker foil for embossing or crafting.

Is the foil thick and stiff enought to make flowers out of it and still hold their shape.

The material I bought was used to make cups and it does fine. If I remember correct they offer different thicknesses, so if you use .003 inch and use strategic folds and embosses, I think you will be fine, This stuff is not like the aluminum foil in the kitchen, that stuff is below .001 inch thick.
