Pretty good headlight
I like it, I think it looks pretty good on my 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 400 with 41mm fork tubes. With that said, 41mm fork tubes. I have the brackets on the middle slot and after install I’m thinking that I could’ve used the tightest position. My headlight slid all the way down the fork tubes after a short ride but I fixed that by putting the hose clamps on the fork tubes to keep everything from sliding down again. I could try the tightest setting on the clamps but I’m not taking it apart since I have the gauge cluster and turn signals mounted to the headlight brackets. Some advice, if you’re trying to use something less than the loosest position you’ll have to tighten the brackets down to bend them to fit around the tube by drawing the bracket pieces together.Mounting the headlight to the brackets: I thought I was stripping something out when I tightened down the included bolts…. And the headlight still wasn’t staying where I adjusted it to. I fixed that problem by going to the store and getting a couple of longer bolts (M8-1.25x25) and some lock washers. After getting the headlight comfortably tight it hasn’t lost adjustment in a week.Wiring it up: if you’re not replacing a headlight that’s already a H4 fog light bulb you can get a H4 connector like I did. The box didn’t come with any instructions for which blade goes to what but I was able to figure it out by coming back to this Amazon listing since there were a few different configurations on Google images. The pic I took of the plug: top is low beam, left is ground and right is high.Brightness? I think it’s pretty good. I haven’t rode at night yet, just after sunset so far. It seems to really light up license plates, road signs and parking garages. I’m pretty optimistic about its nighttime performance since I can tell it totally illuminates the lane I’m in.I needed to add my own improvements to get it better out of the box but I’m really thinking about getting this same light for my 2018 Honda Rebel. I would’ve totally loved this light if the daytime running lights weren’t red but I guess that’s what every headlight seller on Amazon thinks I want. Again, I totally dig the look of this headlight on my bike

Worked great
Was an easy install if you're mechanically inclined at all, shines bright, and is sturdy.

Screws loose!
I purchased a pair of these for my sv650 and sv1000. I put these on during my spring tune ups and I noticed this strange flicker while riding after less than 500 miles on both bikes. Upon inspection found the center lens to be loose on one and the left side loose on the other.I heated the silicon and peeled the cover off to see what the problem was. Three screws all holding various lenses were loose, one of them falling out all together. I cleaned all the lenses and screws installing with a medium thread locker. Cleaned the old silicone seal off and re-sealed the housing. I'll toss it back on my 1000 after it cures, hoping this holds. These bigger V-twins vibrate a fair amount. These are pretty great lights though, the beam is nice with a solid cut-off line. High beams are great too. Not many out there DOT approved so these are still worth the 80 bucks in my opinion.

Very nice light
This is a nice looking headlight and works quite well.Upsides:- Easy to install- Looks good on a bike- Not too expensive- Dims light up the area well- Brights are very bright and well aimedDownsides:- Mounts are painted metal and are very slick on metal forks, making it necessary to add a rubber piece to keep them from moving- Mounting bolts are a bit short. I had to go to the hardware store to get slightly longer ones- Where the mount holds the headlight is metal on metal again. I had to get rubber washers so the light stayed aimed where I set itOnce the downsides were taken care of (not a difficult task, but the rubber pieces really should be included), this turned out to be a cool looking headlight that was effective and heightened the visibility of the bike. I mounted mine on my 2012 Honda Rebel CMX250C because my stock bulb burned out and a replacement was the same price as this light. All in all, I would buy this again and recommend it to friends.
