Good light ouput / tight beam / earthing issue
It's already been said by another reviewer and I can confirm the earth doesn't do anything (see pic) but the sticker on the outer casing clearly states "this appliance must be earthed" !?! It also has the CE marking (European Conformity): Which means it complies with EU safety. I'm in two minds whether to send it back or not because in the event of a fault you could be lighting up more than you bargained for! 8-}Putting that aside for a moment it's a great pin spot light for the money... I paid £29.99 at time of review. The light has a blueish tinge to it which might not please everybody but I quite like it - The beam is strong for a 4 watt LED & the edge of the projected light is quite sharp where I have it placed. If you've looked at my pic and want to know sizes etc.. the mirror ball is 200mm and the light is approx' 2.7 metres away I have the lens in that gives the narrowest beam angle. This is roughly the correct distance for no light bleed onto the wall or ceiling behind. I've not tried it but if you needed the light further away with no light bleed I guess you could mackle up some kind of tube over the end of it to keep it nice and tight :)I've knocked one star off for the earthing issue... I might put my own earth on it because overall I'm very pleased with the light. And don't really want to send it back, buy another... only to find it's not as good or, is made in China like this one and doesn't have an earth either.

Iffy Earth - Light OK
Earth Lead doesn't earth anything.Light is OK, but I question the connector onto the board as the earth doesn't appear to do anything. The light is enclosed in a plastic case, but if you remove the lense then the metal inside does not appear to be earthed, but there is an earth lead in the small connector to the board.

Worked only for two hours then failed
This was a mistake - worked for a couple of hours, but only very dull bluish white light coming out. It then stopped working. Now I can't get any light from it.

Pinspot LED
WOW what a fantastic little light, got it to light a mirrorball, really bright white 3w Led, comes with a selection of gel filters, lens is glass, body plastic you also get a spare lens, the one fitted gives a narrow spot, if you change them over you get a wider beam ( by means of a circlip in front of the lens), if you leave the lens out altogether you get a wider beam, could very easaly be used as a follow spot, great light, great price.
