Bell Nomad MIPS Adult Mountain Bike Helmet

I haven't put this to the ultimate test, and hope it doesn't happen. Early use makes me think the Bell really has improved on their protection level: fit feels very solid, and there seems to be more mass in the hard foam. I thought the solid plastic inner surface would be hot, but I don't notice much - if any - difference from my previous Bell, even riding in Florida sun at 80+ degrees. My only quibble is that the helmet whistles at the slightest provocation. Strange.

I picked this up for my son, he outgrew another bell trail helmet I purchased for him. I know it will get beaten around, but I wanted to get something with a mips liner. This balances cost/features perfectly. He’s very happy with it and finds it to be quite comfortable.

Great helmet at a great price. It is a warm helmet but it provides more coverage than a lot of the xc helmets. It does not have some of the cool features of the high end helmets but I have never really needed those. Lots of adjustments and overall it’s very comfortable.

I love this helmet! I am a city/downtown commuter so having a helmet is essential. I feel well-protected whenever I wear it and get a lot of compliments on the color, which is always an added bonus.

Nice helmet for the money spent. I hope I never have to “try” it out.

Bell bike helmet is comfortable and fits well. The extended visor is effective at blocking sun and protecting face from overhead brush.
