Epare vs Bodum vs Jocobi -- Epare wins
Epare 12oz is the winner for me. All three mugs are good looking. Without testing it, I think they all retain heat about the same. The Bodum Bistro feels the best in my hand, is much heavier, but holds less and costs much more than the Epare and the Jocobi. The Bodum were my first of these and I promptly "tossed" one in the sink when it slipped out of my hand. Note that I did not just drop it, I slammed it into the sink. It broke and I figured that at $33 a pair, I should look at other options. The Epare 12 oz were discounted and I liked the idea of an extra two ounces so that a full cup is not so close to the brim. These are lighter than the Bodum but do not feel too light.Wanted to add two more mugs, I tried the Jocobi. They are the lowest price point of these three options. They are by far the lightest. They do not feel as nice, or as high quality, when in your hand. And they are also only 10oz like the Bodum but seem to hold a tiny bit less. The photos with coffee in the mugs all have exactly 10 oz of coffee. So, even the 10oz mugs hold a bit more than 10 oz.After a few weeks of owning all three, I find I reach for the Epare and the Bodum every morning. If money was not an issue, I'd suggest the Bodum if you are OK with a slightly smaller mug.IMO, the Epare is the best mug for overall value. Great quality feel, size, and looks.

Superb, better than restaurant quality!
Finally have a reason to be thankful my friend breaks my glassware every time she comes over (hopefully these mugs can stand up to her heavy hand). I needed a couple of mugs to replace my generic drug store mugs that my friend broke so I decided to treat myself to these glass mugs after reading the description and the mostly positive reviews. Also, I purchased the elite-ish Ninja bar and wanted some kind of fancy mugs to go with it without breaking the bank. Boy if these Epare coffee cups weren't the perfect match for my picky demands. They arrived perfectly package and are just stunning. A bit bigger than your average coffee cup, which I like. Honestly I was going to wait to test out my Ninja Coffee Bar but I so eager to test out these cups that I opened everything tonight and gave it a test run. The cups do retain heat much better than any coffee cup I've ever used. Beyond that, presentation is everything. They make a stellar looking cappuccino. I'd buy them again. In fact, I definitely will buy them again. I could use two more. Forget two, I swear I'm going to dispose of all my little itty bitty cups that came with my dining set and replace them with this Epare insulated coffee cup awesomeness. It's the gift that keeps on giving. Great holiday gifts, guys. Sure to please!

Very durable, but the base is unfinished and the inside gets condensation
Got these after breaking a glass mug. These do the job, they're easy to hold, and the double-wall keeps them from being hot to the touch on the outside. Plus they're quite durable. They also work well with the loose-tea baskets that I already had and used with the previous glass mugs, which was very important to me for brewing and steeping loose tea (mostly what I use these for in the afternoon. This would have been 5-stars, but...The bottom of each mug has a cut mark from where the glass was blown and cut, so no effort was made on these to smooth out the spot on the surface other than make sure the glass would rest properly on a flat surface.UPDATE: I've had these for about 10 months now. Within the first 6 months, we began noticing that condensation builds inside the inner and outer wall of the double-layer. It doesn't impact the tea or flavor, but even long after they've been used, cleaned and set on a shelf in a dry place, the condensation remains. So when you order and receive these, keep in mind that condensation will likely build up because of the 2-layer construction. Also, the glass becomes very hot to touch accidentally if you grab the sides rather than the handle. So while this may be termed as a "double-wall", it's not airtight enough that condensation won't seep through. In the future, I might spend the extra money for a Bodum, but these are fine in a pinch.UPDATE #2: Finally tired of the condensation problem with these. I changed my rating from 3 to 1 because I cannot recommend them with the way they create condensation between the layers. Now thrown them out. You might be satisfied with them if you can overlook seeing as much liquid between the layers as you can in the cup, but they're now more expensive than the price I paid, and I was on the fence based on the old pricing. Spend the extra money for a Bodum that will likely last much longer without that issue.

Did not hold well in the Dishwasher and warranty not honored
Update July 6, 2020This is an update revising 2 star with 4. Now that the seller heard me of my warranty claim and sent me the replacements which I received last Friday, I am revising their ratings. The mugs are indeed great, just be gentle on handling and I hope the seller will be prompt in respecting the warranty.June 23, 2020They are nice mugs to keep your coffee warm as well as to enjoy the layers of espresso and froth on my favorite cappuccino and latte. The mug keeps it warm, a little delicate as they are not heavy, so you have to be extra careful on handling them. All well for 5 months then suddenly one broke inside the dishwasher. So, lesson learned but too late. However, they have the limited lifetime warranty, so I wrote to them. They quickly replied and asked to send few information, mailing address, and the photo, which I sent them promptly. That is it. It is now over one month since I provided all the info, there is a radio silence from their side. I wrote a follow-up, still no news. Then, I resubmitted the warranty claim, and it was the repeat of the episode, they asked to send the info, address, and photo. Again, I sent them all, and that is it. So, don’t trust on their warranty. As long as you handle with care, these are good to use.
