Can these be used on the gable of a metal shed?

Yes, if you can make a round 2 inch hole in your metal you can stick this in there and it has little metal tabs that will hold it in place.

What do you use to attach it with?

The two inch vent actually measures 1.980 inches according to the manufacturer's measurement specifications. It is meant to fit snugly into a two inch hole. A very small dab of an adhesive probably wouldn't hurt either!

What is the net free area of these louvers?

Per the manufacturer, the RLW-100 2" louver provides 0.803 inches of net free area.

Does anyone know the size of the screening? I need it to be 1/16" for fire prevention.

I have 2.5” round vents and the screening has 1/16 square openings
