Excellent Sound
My very old car had a premium sound system with amp from the factory and always sounded great until the speaker cones separated. I realized that a $30-80 pair of aftermarket speakers would likely be slightly better than most regular car speakers, $80-150 would likely be slightly better than premium factory speakers, and over $150 would be higher end speakers requiring a better head unit and sub. These Polks are lower cost but fit in the upper middle category.I first just screwed a couple of these Polks in and the highs sounded very clear, but the mid was muddy and I believed I would need to add a subwoofer because the sound had very little base. I didn’t expect perfection, but they were just slightly better than regular plain factory speakers and not as good as the original factory premium Infinity Gold speakers that came with my car.I had read about putting in sound deadening material and making sure the speakers were sealed air tight. After buying and very minimally applying some of this material around and behind the speakers, the muddy midrange sound was mostly gone and the base was significantly better. I actually had to turn down the bass on my receiver. I spent more on the sound deadening Siless 80mm material & foam tape than I did on one pair of speakers and ended up only using 20% of it. It also took a lot of time but was all well worth it.Sound is now better than the premium sound that came from the original premium factory speakers and much like Polks I have in the house. I do have to adjust the receiver treble/bass and volume just right for the type of music I’m playing because my receiver won’t output anywhere near as well. If I do though, these Polks produce better sound than my Bluetooth earbuds, the bass vibrates, and I feel like a teenager that just got a new car stereo.

Polk Audio. Sturdy and built to last
The sellers delivery was right on time. I've had Polk speakers some are 25 years old and still going strong. No flashie ads or promises. They are sturdy and built to last for years! Without a doubt my favorite speaker brand!

Good for the price 57$
Sound great. Mid bass is decent and highs are nice and soft. Currently being run in the back area of my Honda crz and are a bit quieter than expected. These are pretty low profile by the way. Not sure if that my car is not giving them much power but for the price it’s hard to complain. I think an amp would really wake them up tho, besides the factory one I mean. Although, I highly doubt they can take the 100 rms they claim.

Great value - sound good
This leveled up my factory speakers in my 24 ridgeline by a LOT. Used an adapter (HSTECH 72-7800) to hook up to my rear doors. Bright sound, very clear. I can highly recommend especially for the price.

Great speaker. A bit of a puzzle to install and definitely requires a clean 50W to shine
This is my 2nd pair, for doing the rear doors, which will take some custom work on my part.I bought the 1st pair for the front crew cab doors from Crutchfield but they were out of stock this time. I love their support.I didn't want to take a chance on an unknown, so had to 2nd source from amazon.Speakers arrived on time, new from Electronics Expo .I haven't installed them yet, so this review is based on the first set I purchased a couple months ago.I am very pleased with the sound of these. I left my factory tweeters in place when replacing the factory woofer with this 2-way, but I've had no complaints.I temporarily hooked them up to a higher output head unit while waiting for my Boss amp to arrive and they sound much better than with my 15W aftermarket no-name touchscreen head unit. So it definitely takes some power to drive the bass on these.I'm looking forward to installing this 2nd pair with the new amp when I return home in a couple of weeks.I would definitely recommend them and obviously would purchase them again .

I like them
The media could not be loaded. Underpowered by a cheap Pyle PLMRMP3B until a get a better amp, it’s literally like 20-30w RMS but maxed out, but these sound good enough at 60mph without clipping. Paired with DS18 pods just for a cheap audio add-on at the end of summer.

Decent for the price
Harley road glide: I can’t complain a whole lot for 60$ but I wouldn’t pay more for these. They sound great under 30 mph, but add some speed and a bit of wind and you can barely hear them. If you’re going to put these on your bike you’ll need lid speakers as well, or just use earbuds
