Quality tone and feel that lasts
I have these strings on several guitars, and they are the best strings I've found to balance initial tone and feel along with longevity.I am a fan of coated strings. The plusses outweigh any minuses by a distance for me. Even if you think the initial tone is better for non-coated strings - how long do you retain it? Not that long before coated strings sound newer and continue to do so for the rest of the string life. When you do session work as I do, I want my guitar to sound consistent over a few days/weeks working on a project, being able to come back and drop in with identical tone - coated strings have been a huge blessing. These (XS) are the very best coated strings I have played, both acoustic and electric. Best feel and tone.Okay D'Addario, where are my choices for XS bouzouki strings?

Amazing strings
I’ve only ever used Daddario EJ16 on my acoustics since 2001.As the corroded quickly I thought I’d finally give the coated versions a try. These strings feel like uncoated and sound even better. The lows are low and highs, high.I’ve found my new acoustic strings, won’t ever go back to EJ16’s again.

I wouldn't have believed it but these strings really do make a difference.
For years I have been a D'Addario J16 person. I've had numerous guitars set up for them. However, I saw a talking head on YouTube raving about these strings and decided to try them on a guitar I was having serious doubts about keeping. My goodness, what a transformation! The guitar has gone from being one I avoid to one I pick up first when I have a choice. The strings have created greater volume, a more clear bass (before it sounded muted) and after 4 months have still not dulled (some people in the reviews have used their set for a year or more). All I can say to recommend these strings is that I now like the guitar they are on so much I feel it worthwhile to spend the money to have it set up with these strings, which is an investment of at least £100 or more.

A JOY TO USE - Bright, balanced and full of tone.
I have a Taylor guitar. I used to use Elite strings on mine. They got super expensive and quality began to fall. I notice Taylor have now changed to these strings in the factory. I can see why having just restrung my acoustic. As to longevity, I only put them on a few days ago, so that remains to be seen but I don't see why not. These string makers have been around a long time and are trusted in the industry for consistency.
