Works OK but edges all have sharp corners
This filter-holder is well-depicted in the pictures, and works as advertised for both full-cone filters like my Hario, and flat-bottomed filters like Melitta. However, I deducted a star for something that I wish I'd noticed from the thankfully-clear images on the catalog page: the edges are all sharp, not rounded or softened in any way at all. It means that the whole thing looks a bit like it's made out of plywood sheet and, in fact, likely is made of some similar bamboo composite.I wish they had smoothed or rounded the edges, especially for the price being charged; it would've made the real-life item look a lot better and less like a decently-executed woodshop project.I've only deducted a single star because the manufacturer does clearly show exactly what it looks like, in a nice array of pictures. I have the same reservations over bamboo cutting boards; this set shows how those bamboo-sheet items can still have nice smooth rounded edges: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002M782UOFor the current price of the filter holder, that wouldn't seem to be too much to expect, and would make for a much more appealing-looking piece. At least it really is bamboo, so it holds up well even in areas that may get damp or wet.

Sometimes a simple solution is the classy answer as well.
I try to avoid acquiring stuff, but when I do buy a product, I want something that is functional, well made and looks nice as well. With the above being said, I find it is important to distinguish between ornate vs. looks nice. In most cases I believe that simple is both the most functional solution and the most attractive.I use a coffee filter every single day. I thought I should graduate from keeping them in the box/package they come in and find a nice way to hold them. A search on Amazon presented me with dozens and dozens of options. I settled on this filter holder because it was simple in design, looked nice and appeared to be functional.Well it certainly is all the above. Love the material. I like how it feels and it just looks classy on my counter.I would like to remove .25 of a star for the imprint of what looks like a hand coffee mill imprinted on it. It is subtle but does nothing for me. You may love it.

Nice looking and does the job
We got this to fit three sizes of different filters, as is shown in the photo. Of course it's sized so that the largest filter fits best. If you tend to get bothered by slight imperfections, then just know that your #4 filters will slip down and "bow" (be wavy in the container) because they are are wider at the top than the space allows. I doubt that most people will care. We turn our bamboo holder around to the plain side to reduce visual clutter on an already busy counter top.10/18 - Update (to be fair) on the "fit" comment: The next box of #4 filters that I bought fits flat (no bowing). I have to assume that there's a slight inconsistency in manufacturing the brown Melitta paper filters from batch to batch. We still find the holder convenient and a good purchase.

Very Stylish, Very Functional
This filter holder was exactly what I needed for my coffee setup! I was tired of having several boxes of filters that were not only ugly but took up too much space on the counter. Now, I have a very nice looking filter holder that takes up less space and holds two different size coffee filters (#4, and #6). In the morning when I am barely functioning and stumbling around trying to make my coffee, I don't have to open a box or bag to get one out, they are just there ready to go. Love it!

Nice addition to my coffee nook
The bamboo holder is nicely made; fit and finish is excellent. It is large enough to acommodate a large quantity and variety of coffee filters, tea bags, etc. For the price, this is a good value to add organization to your home coffee station.

Great 'Green' Way To Hold Coffee Filters
I saw these years ago at the Container Store and kicked myself for never getting one. A few years ago I searched around for one and could not find a bamboo one... and once I got this holder I had to try it. It is HEAVY, not so heavy that you cannot hang it from an interior cabinet door (what I did), but it is also not some flimsy piece of wood. It holds plenty of filters, looks great... not sure what more you could ask for.

Best thing I ordered all week!
Coffee filters are one of those things in the kitchen that I never know where to put, especially since my new pot uses the cone style. I love this perfect little holder! It looks amazing on my counter, it fits the large cones perfectly, and gave my filters a home. I would love to have coordinating pieces for my kitchen. Shipping was fast, came perfect.

Does the job
I really needed something to keep the cone shaped coffee filters in and this was the only item I found. It is nice, keeps all the cone filters in one spot and they stay neat and keep the shape. I also stick my coffee measure in with it. It is well made and appears durable. If you wanted to keep it on the counter it would look nice. I keep mine in the cabinet. My only complaint is that I thought it was very expensive for what it does...keep your filters together but then I do not have an Aeorpress, just a basic Cuisinart.
