Broke easily; used four times
Unfortunately this rod was a nice rod but broke under normal usage. When we went to get it repaired under warranty we were informed that we had to pay the repair plus shipping ahead of time and IF it was deemed a manufacturer failure we would be reimbursed. American customers are given a price ahead of shipping but Canadians are in the dark regarding how much the repair costs. My son saved up his money for a new fly-fishing rod and was devastated to have it break on him. Not knowing how much it will cost to repair has us wondering if he's just throwing good money after bad. Don't buy Redington, especially if you are in Canada.

Rod tip broke on 3rd use
The rod tip broke after only the third use. The rod has a lifetime warranty on it but tell that to Redington. For months I tried to reach them by phone and their customer service department would ignore my phone messages and emails. I went through months and months of frustration in dealing with a company that has no viable customer service after spending hundreds of dollars on their product. I definitely wouldn't want to ever go through all that aggravation again! If you buy this rod and it breaks, you will have no recourse through the seller. Talk to Amazon immediately instead.

Very much like a Sage Fly Rod!!
I purchased this rod and I was aware that Redington fly rods were actually Sage rod blanks in disguise. ( hope this makes sense)Anyway it's a 4 piece rod and worth the extra bucks. Dont shy away because it's a Redington.

Rod broke after a couple of uses
Had this rod for a few weeks now, originally I liked it. I used it infrequently, maybe like 5 times since I got it. Already, there is a mean crack in the rod only after a couple of fish. I took great care of the rod and always had it in its case. The quality of this product seems really low.
