They keep our floors from being scratched. Perfect!
These pads work! We have limestone flooring, which is a fairly soft stone, and we have tried a series of different types of protective pads for our furniture, especially kitchen and dining room chairs. The original pads the manufacturer had on the kitchen chairs were secured with several small nails. As these wore out, we replaced them with a series of adhesive backed felt pads, which inevitably came loose. We ordered a couple sizes of these nail-on pads and they work perfect. The "nail" that is used to secure them to the chair is a cylinder that is easily hammered on to the chair leg. This type of fastener provides solid support for the pad assembly as well as giving a permanent grip onto the chair and other furniture. And, it was easy to hammer them on. Two reasonable strikes with the hammer, and their done. It took longer to use needlenose plyers to remove the nails that were left over from the original worn out pads. If we ever need more, we're buying these. But they seem so durable it may be a few years before we buy another set.

Last a long time. Easy installation.
This is my second purchase. I purchased the first set of 1” brown nail-on pads for $19.99 on November 2019. As of 4/19/2022, all of the pads are still firmly in place and none of the felt pads are compressed. One chair gets hours of daily use by a 240 lb person and the pads don't look worn at all.I subsequently purchased two of the mixed size set to install on all my wood furniture (end tables, nightstands, large ottoman, sofa, dining chairs, etc.). They are super easy to install. The hardest part is removing the old furniture glides. Only one piece of furniture seemed to have very hard wood, but I just hammered harder to install them. The pads allow the furniture to slide easily, but have enough drag to prevent accidents. The only con is the felt collects fur, like all felt pads, but it's easy to remove.I love these so much I just ordered another set to keep as a spare for future use.

No scratch marks under the heavy sofa
These are nice. I hope they last. My couch had plastic feet on it which did not want to let these hammer on to so I softened it with a lighter, nailed them on, and let it cool. It worked great. No scratch marks at all so far on the floors. They look and feel secure on the wood and plastic feet. No more scratching sounds or marks on the newly finished floors... and they look classy.

Worked well for Dining Room Chairs
attached to dining room chairs to replace adhesive ones that were on there. Easy to install, slide smoothly, no real issues. Note though when using these, they will increase the height of the chairs slightly, so be sure to account for that. Not an issue for our chairs, but depending on the space available, I could see how it could potentially make a difference.

Good quality and less expensive than others
I use felt pads on several chairs and stools that sit directly on a hardwood floor. Over the years I've tried several different kinds. I've come to the conclusion that real felt pads have to be installed with a hammer. Anything that claims to bond or glue itself to the bottom of a chair leg that slides on a hardwood floor just will not last. This type of felt pad has a small, circular section of tubing that gets nailed into the bottom of the chair leg. I've found that it takes quite a bit of force compared to the felt pads that have a thin nail or brad holding them in, but these tend to hold better. Once they're in place they're REALLY in place, and nothing short of prying them up and out of the chair leg with a prybar will remove them very easily. It's no picnic hammering them into something like hard maple or walnut, but the results are worth it. These are less expensive than some of the others I've bought in the past ($8 for 48 count vs. $5 for 8 count) but the quality appears to be just as good. I have enough here to do all of my chairs with a few left over.

Superior anchors.... better than nails or screws
Ive used these before. lasting years. The round, sharp 'tube' that is driven into the wood leg is very durable. I have only used this on end grain- might not be good in other situations, YMMV. I have nver had a felt pad come loose.

Wow!
I wish I knew about these earlier. They are amazing. The felt ones would always leave glue all over our floors and it drove me crazy. These are genius and totally worth the price for high traffic movement. Recommend for sure!

Chair leg caps
recent full home reno and lovely new vinyl plank flooring. My new table chairs already made a couple of small scratches....arghhhhh!!........tried buying silicone caps from Amazon but they did not fit the slightly curved shape of the legs so sent them back and bought these - they are perfect. Hubby pulled out the plastic caps that were on the chairs and then tapped these ones on and they are perfect for sliding the chairs in and out.

These are wonderful! Such a relief not to have sticky glue ...
These are wonderful! Such a relief not to have sticky glue all over my floors. You do need a little elbow grease to hammer these in. I have had my first batch in situ for about 5 mths now, they still work perfectly. I'm only sorry I didn't order them sooner!

Way better that stick on glides.
Hammered them in and they work great. The stick on ones would move and start to fall off in a couple of weeks, these are far superior!
