EquiGroomer 5 Inch – Great for Dogs and Cats (5 Inches, approx. 12.7 cm)

I use this on my Frenchie. Its so good. Initially, I wasn't using it properly and thought 'oh brilliant. Suckered in by another YouTube recommendation that is rubbish...' but kind of play around with it a little and you'll get the hang of it. It's sooo good at getting the under-coat of my short-haired dog. Regular grooming with this has made her new fur very thick and shiny. Really great product.

I didn't realise how desperately my cat needed this brush. The amount of fur that came off was insane. His coat is now shinier and he has less fur balls. Great product.

I got one of these for our Maine Coon cross moggies after seeing it on Girl with the Dogs. The cats love it - they get very chilled and purry when we use it on them as it's similar to a cat's tongue. Even the one who hates being brushed enjoys the Equigroomer.It's well made, easy to use and great at removing undercoat without scratching and pulling.It is a bit messier than longer toothed grooming products, but it still beats your pet shedding all over the place.Even if your cat doesn't need a groom, it's excellent for bonding time.Highly recommended!

On first opening it looks like cheap rubbish; it looks like a hacksaw blade that’s been painted and pressed into a block of painted wood. That being said, it does seem pretty effective. It seems over priced for the materials but pretty reasonable for how well it does the job.

Great product removes load of dead hair thus improving the dog’s coat

This doesn't work as fast or effectively as say an undercoat rake but that isn't the point of it. The point of it is that it doesn't pull, which makes it easier to do so for a longer period of time without your pet running off and hiding or getting annoyed with you.It should be noted however, that dogs and cats are different on an individual to individual level. So this may work well on my long-hair German Shepherd but not yours. This is good to try if your pet HATES other grooming tools and you may have to mix and match different brushes and combs to fully brush out a thicker coat without upsetting your pet too much doing it.

It's literally a blunted hacksaw blade in a piece of painted wood. It works, and my car loves it, but it's too expensive for something a kid could make in wood working class at school.

The media could not be loaded. I have been using the furminator for the last couple of years but my black cat only tolerated it for a few minutes, and my orange cat for maybe ten seconds. I've been watching a YouTuber (from Niagara area I think..) who was using two other combs. I bought both! I tried to return the Kong minutes after receiving it, as it was not effective. This "hacksaw in a piece of wood" is amazing. My black cat barely moved he loved it so much. I just keep brushing and brushing and all he did was purr... I only stopped when I noticed i was creating a bald spot lol. I do not do many reviews but this one was important to battle any reader who is persuaded by the negative reviews. I think one review said, 'don't hesitate'... and I second that. Buy this if you want to brush your cat to unimaginable softness (lol) and make them happy doing it.

Questo prodotto è ottimo. I miei gatti non sopportano di essere spazzolati e con equigroomer sono molto più tolleranti.Funziona molto bene.Unica pecca l’ho trovato un po’ costoso, ma lo ricomprerei.

Ich bin total begeistert von dieser Bürste/Striegel. Mein Kater verliert Haare das ganze Jahr über. Er mag die normalen Drahtbürsten nicht. Das erste Foto ist nach 5 Minuten bürsten. Ich konnte nicht fassen wie viel da raus kam. Außerdem hat er die ganze Zeit dabei geschnurrt.Das zweite Knäuel ist von meiner Kätzin, von der ich immer behauptet habe, dass sie keine Haare verliert. Sie hat auch laut geschnurrt was ich von ihr überhaupt nicht kenne. Man muss ihr die Hand an den Hals legen um zu spüren ob sie schnurrt.Aber wie jemand anderes schon sagte, die Bürste löst die Haare aber fängt sie nicht auf. Also auf jeden Fall Staubsauger für danach parat halten.

Have tried many different de-shedding tools and brushes including the Furminator, but this one is life changing.Started with the dog (Shepherd mixed breed), he usually tolerates grooming but he enjoyed this one. So much fur came out!Cat number 1 was fine, but he loves being brushed. Cat number 2 dislikes grooming, this one was ok. Cat number 3 - she never lets me brush her and look at that video!!! I got 10 minutes of her absolutely loving this process until she had enough. Never got so much fur out of her, I’ll use this every day now ♥️
