JR Peter's 50000 Jack's Exact Mix Hose End Sprayer

This is a wonderful product and I don’t understand the reason for negative reviews. You know exactly how much product actually remains in the mixing container which is unlike the MiracleGro fertilizer applicator. There is an off switch that allows you bypass the fertilizer and spray only water as you move between the plants you need to fertilize and those you don’t. Some plants nay not need fertilizer (e.g clematis that should not be fertilized when they are blooming) but are growing between roses.Overall, a great product and I will now not use any other for liquid fertilizing. I think those people who give this sprayer negative reviews are probably using it improperly. Of course, there is always the chance you may buy a lemon. This applicator is saving me hours of carrying a watering can back and forth between the faucet and the plant I need to fertilize.I also called the manufacturer twice with questions about the fertilizing mix and the sprayer. In both instances, my questions were answered and although I needed to leave a message the first time I called, my call was returned quickly (within an hour or two).

Yes, yes, yes. Get this. The ability to dial the dosage and apply more, light feedings will results in *significantly* better growth for your plants! This hose-end sprayer is head and shoulders over the Miracle-Gro one. My only wish is that the spray setting had a bit finer dispersion pattern. It's a little coarse for small potted plants, but if I could only ding it a half star for that, I would. Overall, it's an excellent hose-end mixer backed with excellent customer service.

I have tried a few different fertilizer sprayers, and this one is by far the best I have used. All you have to do is add a specific amount of Jacks fertilizer, add the corresponding amount of water(which is marked right on the bottle), and then set the dial on the top. Just used it, and it worked perfectly for a large area of plants I have to feed. You could also use this sprayer with any other water soluble fertilizer. Great sprayer for a great fertilizer.

Jacks makes the best water soluable fertilizer on the planet and I was very excited to try this sprayer. So very disappointed. Ordered and tried to use the day it got here. The sprayer would not create a vacum to spray the fertilizer out with the water. I returned and tried a replacement. The replacement worked for one use. My garden is so large I had to refill the bowl with fertilizer. I turned the sprayer back on and nothing! Water wouldn’t come out, fertilizer wouldn’t come out the sprayer and turning the knobs had no affect...I removed the bowl checked the siphon tube and made sure the knobs where right. Reattached to the hose and still nothing. So very disappointed that a reputable company like Jacks would allow such a bad product to tarnish their name.EDITED: Amazon was great about sending me a replacement. Just like the first sprayer the replacement was junk too. You can hear something rattling around inside of the sprayer. Sprayer wouldn’t spray fertilizer out of 2 of the 3 settings. This sprayer is being sent back for a refund. I hope JR Peters pulls this product from their line because it gives them a bad name.

It seems to work. But the concentration levels change constantly. I know this because I hold a white cup over the spout to see how the water looks. At first I couldn't really tell if the fertilizer was mixing at all because the water looked very clear. So I decided to use a large empty plastic yogurt container and filled it up with water coming from the spray nozzle. Against the white you could see that the water had a blue tint. But what I also noticed was that as I did this periodically to make sure that the fertilizer was, indeed, mixing into the water I noticed that the water was sometimes a very pale blue to a very deep blue. So that means that the concentration of the fertilizer is heavily inconsistent.Still, I've been using it every seven days with no apparent problems or evident burning. I just hope that my perennials aren't getting too much food. The instructions say to give Jack's fertilizer at a lower concentration for perennials and bushes and quite a bit more for annuals.At any rate, I'm grateful that I can get my fertilizing done a lot faster. I have way too many plants. LOL! I go through approximately two pounds of the dry fertilizer in a week's time. Imagine trying to manually mix that quantity with gallon after gallon after gallon of water in one watering can on a weekly basis. I lived it and it was so time consuming.

Not a great feeder. It leaks

Ordered JR Peter's Hose End Sprayer. Received it fast. It works great. Was able to feed and water all my landscaping and container plants and vegetables in no time. Before I was using a watering can and now that I've expanded my plants I wanted something fast and easy to use. This works. It comes with one packet of food, but any brand of water soluble food will work. All instructions were included with the unit.

This is an excellent fertilizer sprayer. My son had recommended the Jack's Classic all purpose fertilizer to me so I went ahead and purchased the same brand in the sprayer. It's easy to measure and it works great. It's much better than the other brand that I've tried that never runs out of blue water, this one draws up the fertilizer/water and you can see it going down. I'm very happy with this sprayer.
