This is rugged, simple way to make pour over coffee. Easy to clean. Time it takes to make a cup is totally dependent on your grind size. Espresso will take quite a while, course will go fairly fast. For me, finer grind equals more flavor. Get a water kettle designed for pour over coffee to get the full effect, and watch a few Youtubes on pour over coffee

I feel like I’m always in the go. My mornings generally consist of drinking a coffee made from my keurig machine, but on those days that I have more time, I prefer drinking something a bit more customized. I don’t want a coffee maker because of how much storage and counter space it takes, and my last French press shattered in the dish washer. So this Stanley pour over made out of stainless steel is really appealing to me. Its sized perfectly for the cup, our even using it over tumblers/mugs. It’s a great product that will last years to come. And yes, it makes a good cup of coffee (without the need for filters).

I got so excited when I was shopping for my camping trip and saw this, it was perfect camping and at home. Now that the camping trip is over, I still keep it with me on short trips through the city so I can take my own coffee that I love and trust with me and all I need is hot water and i'm good to go with my little stanley pour over.

Pour over coffee is great and this unit makes great coffee. It is easy to use. Super simple. Measure the coffee about three tablespoons for a mug. Hear about 12oz of water. Pour a little over the grounds. Wait. Then pour the rest and 4minutes the mug is full of coffee. Cleaning the filter takes a bit of time. The micro filter works well. Cleans easily. This would work great camping. Well worth the investment.

Great for off grid camping when you just have hot water to make coffee. It definitely gets less grounds in the cup than our French press, which I appreciate. Metal, sturdy not tippy, comfortable handle, easy to use lid.

Perfect for camping

This is perfect for iced coffee for 2 reasons:If not pre-heated, the cup immediately allows the coffee to begin cooling (just being metal)Then, after brewing, pour the coffee slowly from the Stanley cup to your cup with ice. The fine grounds that made it to the Stanley cup will be settled in the bottom, and the lip will help keep them there. Stop pouring when you see the dark, muddled brew at the bottom. You will not lose any flavor but you will have separated out almost all the fine grounds. (I understand the complaints about the lip in other reviews, but in this case, it works wonderfully)

Like: tough, attractive, neat box, thermo cup. [Dislike: Screen is vertical tube so no place for a filter if you want one, water reservoir has graduations but they are unusable since water just runs through before you can measure. Water reservoir holds 20 oz of water, but don't put 20 oz in the cup or you will not be able to lift it without spilling. It could be OK if you can work around the issues.
