My son asked me for more storage for his xbox one. His xbox one is out of storage and he wanted to install more games. We search around and this hdd is the most affordable for the most storage. I mentioned that it is compatible with xbox one, easy to install , just plug and play. We received it, plug it and and he got his extra storage. He installed few games 2K and Madden and he run the game directly from hdd, all worked flawlessly. I recommend this product.

economical answer to photoshop scratch disk storag issues. the size of large photoshop images can be well over 100mg. when working on several at once the temporary memory requirement will often be more than the computer can handle. this external drive provides plenty of storage at an affordable price. it was also easy to add to my current mac mini set up...simply USB plug and play. if i need to free up a usb port, i can simply dismount the drive for as long as i need the slot. everything is waiting for me when it is time to re-mount. the trasfer speeds are fast enough that i have not experienced any noticeable delays when opening or saving large files. it is compact and soundless. on the desktop. very pleased

I actually bought two different 750 GB external Hard Drives (HDD). The UnionSine 750GB HDD is mounted in what resembles a metal heatsink. The entire case is all plastic and solid. I decided on HDD for 2 reasons. 1. I needed more than 500GB but 1 TB was too much. 2. I wanted drives for long term storage.HDD is different from an SSD (Solid State Drive) in that the HDD is a mechanical drive with spinning platter and a movable head. HDDs are not as rugged as SSD and they require more power (current). The UnionSine 750GB drive comes with a USB cable with a USB-A on the computer end and a USB Micro B on the drive end. This cable provides more power for the HDD This cable not only provides more power, it also increase the data transfer to drive if the computer has v 3.0 USB.An HDD will maintain the data for a longer period than SSD as long as it is not dropped, bumped, or josteled. An SSD drive basically charges and discharges internal solid state cells. The charge will last about a year or so if the SSD is left unpowered. For cloning and archiving, an HHD is better unplugged and stored away. An SSD should be powered every so often.The UnionSine 750GB came in it's own box with a 3 yr warranty. The HDD is an Hitachi Global Storage Tech drive. If you buy this exteranl HDD you may or may not get an Hitachi HDD. I am guessing they buy a batch of 2.5" drives at the best price so it could be any brand. I ran a HDD test and it came back with perfect status. Problem and/or weak sectors not found. No spin up nor data transfer errors. Internal temp was 20 degrees C.The S.M.A.R.T. came back passing all tests.Either drive will do a good job.

Love the storage it gives me. I can put photos and videos and files on it, I did have to look up how to use it, but it’s reliable. all my files are in the storage once I put them in there, it’s great. The speed to load everything may depend on how much you’ve put in there, I’ve put around 1,000+ photos and it takes a little to load but they’re all there. The weight isn’t heavy and it’s easy to carry around if need be. Good value for money and in the az heat it’s resistant to any higher temps in the car if left. But I wouldn’t recommend leaving anything electronic in the heat for a long time lol. Comes with its own cord and easy to plug in.
