Lights can be customized, lightweight and looks great with my HP OMEN desktop set.
I purchased this keyboard to go with my HP OMEN desktop setup. It's a large keyboard but is also lightweight. This is my first light up keyboard and I love it. Parts of the keyboard can be customized to flash in different colors which is really neat. I only use the basic keys, though this keyboard is loaded with plenty of extra keys that can be customized and used for gaming. I was also very lucky that I was able to purchase this for an amazing price, half of what it was going for at electronic stores. The HP OMEN desktop series looks awesome so I'm glad I made the purchase to match.

Pretty nice
Pretty good so far. I had an issue where it turns off by itself but it turns out one my usb connections in my motherboard is faulty. The keyboard is pretty decent and it is huge so be aware. The keys are not mechanical but its fairly close.

Get it ... if it drops to ~70$
This keyboard is an interesting one.I purchased this in October of 2017 and once coming out of the box I asked myself "Why did I pay over 80$ for this?" - Not something I have usually done.(+1 star) (basic) - Gets the job done(+1 star) I prefer membrane keyboards so that was one of my criteria when researching keyboards. The thing about this keyboard is that you can still piss-off everyone in discord with loud, mechanical-keyboard like sounds.(+1 star) I also needed key-binds and this keyboard had them.(+1 star) VERY nice matte feel, easy-ish to clean in and out.(+1 star) Lights up all nice and pretty.(+1 star) RGB.(+1 star) Cables are really nice (flexible yet sturdy)(-1 star) Heavier than you expect.(-1 star) Worth 70$, sells at 80$.(-1 star) Membrane on my '5' key got soft and won't rebound the key back into position. If it drops to ~70$ by mid 2019 and you like flashy things and membrane keyboards, get it.

good keyboard
i love this keyboard its great you have 5 light up zones to custimozes change to any color you like I love this keyboard. the 1 thing that bugs me is you cant change the color on this keyboard sperently as in example: the A button red the B button blue the F button white etc wish they could update this keyboard to have that feature but other then that good keyboard I had no prob with it

Does the job.
Believe it or not, but I don't like mechanical keyboards. I prefer the feel of rubber domes. And that's exactly what this keyboard uses. The keyboard is divided into multiple sections, each with their own lighting control in the software. You can save up to 4 profiles to change with onboard buttons, and an unlimited amount of others you can make can be changed in the software or set to start when you launch a game. The keyboard doesn't have individual key lighting options, it's limited to multpile "chunks". You can, however, change the function of EACH AND EVERY KEY to a specific profile if you want.So long as you don't mind rubber dome switches in your keyboard, this is a great choice if you want a lot of flexibility.

Not a big bang for the bucks spent !
Design issues aside this keyboard is not made for people with large hands, so if your palm measures 5" inches across or more this is not the keyboard for you. Don't get me wrong... I am a fan of "chicklet" style keys but form and function are off par here. The keys are cramped and often hit the wrong keys and I consider myself a good typist. "Backspace" is your new BFF with this keyboard. Not sure about the anti ghosting claims are they're not from my experience. I do like the braided style cable and the two USB ports that are provided on the back of the keyboard. Keep in mind this keyboard is large measuring nearly 21-1/2" left to right and 8-1/2" inches front to back making it a hard choice for those wanting to use this with a mouse on a slide out keyboard tray. The keyboard is well made with some minor flexing at the center but still feels solid. Not a fan of the glossy black finish around the keys which easily shows all fingerprints and dust particles. The lack of mechanical keys and feedback are by far a big drawback for those who are gamers, but If you're looking for a keyboard that is pretty quiet this is it. As fas as what others have posted here, it will only give you an idea what to expect. Sadly taking this keyboard for a test drive via the local electronics store is pretty much a miss, since most know of this type of keyboards issues and poor sales. After the failure of Razer's Deathstalker series your think HP and Steelseries would get the point. The Steelseries has the identical keyboard the Apex 350. You can still buy the Razer Deathstalker series in its various formats here on Amazon as low as $39.00 US dollars not backlit.Overall I would not recommend this to anyone at least not with big hands. Others may love it, its all a matter of personal choice in form and function. So you might be asking why I purchased this keyboard knowing all its short comings, well I collect electronic hardware from old PC's to peripherals and this Omen Keyboard will be added to my collection for posterities sake.

Beautiful quality keyboard...
I am rally happy with the size of this keyboard and the quality for the money. The keyboard looks beautiful and my larger hands are happy with the size. If you have an HP OMEN PC this is a no brainier. If you have a gaming machine you will love this keyboard. I don't think you can go wrong with this keyboard. Recommend...

decent keyboard
Nice looking keyboard, it doesn’t have cherry mechanical keys, it is membrane based keyboard, yet have less hand travel while typing, it is bit huge in size if you have tight place then this is not a go to keyboard for sure, colors can be changed from keyboard and if you wanna change patterns then it will be requiring the omen app, also don’t plug both usb cables in single pc use only the main one, I don’t know what is the purpose of secondary usb cable in it, it has 2 usb hubs those are a good availability, overall this is a decent keyboard not bad in my opinion, yet your money is your money 🙂

Lights too dim but still Great
It's a really great keyboard for gaming but the backlight is a bit too dim and because the keys aren't mechanical, some of them which are pressed more regularly have started making a noise. But the layout and design is superb.
