Teacher-Grammy Approved
I recently saw this book at a toy store and I was instantly impressed with the quality and presentation of the alphabet for young kiddos!I found it for less on Amazon so I ordered it for both of my granddaughters right away. The design of the cut-out letters is so clever. For example, the letter “J” on the left side of the page is raised for little fingers to trace and feel using tactile senses. The curl of the “J” fits perfectly into the tail of the beautiful inset jaguar with the curly tail across the page! The one word “Jungle” is next to the letter “J.”This is the most perfect book for learning the sounds and shapes of letters, with words and beautiful details and clarity in n the pictures!I also got the 1, 2, 3 book! 10/10 on the Grammy approval scale, and 10/10 on the teacher approval scale!

Toddler coffee table book
Sturdy enough for a toddler, a lot nicer than I expected. The graphic design quality is like a coffee table book, but for a toddler.

Wonderful for Little Minds!
Great book for introducing the alphabet to children! Vibrant colored pictures and inset/“pop-out” pictures help capture children’s attention. The book is rather large, so not a great option for travel, but a great addition for your home library!

Update 10/2020 Great alphabet book, already teaching my 15mo to recognize letters.
Update: I've had it about 2.5 months now. My daughter, now 15mo, absolutely recognizes the robot, so I had no reason to worry. She also learned lowercase i from this book--the first letter she now says correctly 100% of the time. The second letter is O. She loves it, I love it, it's gorgeous, and I'm bumping it up to 5 stars from 4.It's a very nice book. I see several nitpicky reviews (gasp, i and j are lowercase!) It's a nice little graphic design project that isn't the best illustrated ABC book, imo. They make the letters fit in the cutouts on the opposite page, so often the letter is too far away from the thing it represents. Plus, by trying to force the item to match the letter shape, there are some things that are almost unrecognizable. The panda, for instance, looks more like a badger. The robot looks like nothing. It's a nice book and my daughter enjoys it, and I think she'll like it more as she gets more exposure to letters (she's 13mo). Someone worked hard on this book, and it's a great effort as a design project. It's not nearly as "tactile" as people make it out to be. Just the letters are raised, and there are cutouts on the opposite side.

High-quality, beautiful, tactile intro to ABCs
Beautiful and unique ABC book. Bought this for my 4 year old, in a desperate attempt to help him learn the alphabet before PreK, since being the last kid means I tried a lot less to make him intelligent. Joking...or am I? This book has beautiful and simple images combined with unique cutouts to help kids associate the letters with words that begin with each letter. I love how tactile it made an otherwise kind of boring "A is for Apple" type experience. Not sure if anyone else is a chronic dimension-ignorer like I am, but just know that this is a hefty book. It's thick and solid, durable and well made, but not one of those books you hope they fall in love with and make you cart around everywhere, because it takes up some real estate.I think the clever way the embossed parts fit into the cut outs have slipped by my son entirely, but I thought it was very clever. It is definitely the kind of quality book we will take good care of and pass lovingly on to someone once we've mastered the alphabet, or save for future generations.

Better for Babies than toddlers
This book is super cute. Its very high quality - quite heavy and large. It's just the alphabet with some cut outs though, so I do find there's not a ton of interaction. Perhaps this would be better for a baby and not a toddler, as the visuals are the important part of the book.

Absolutely love
This book is awesome for introducing the alphabet to toddlers!! This book was gifted to us and my daughter (2 1/2) will go through point and I say what they are and she repeats them! I purchased this for my nephews 2nd birthday and I 100% recommend.
