Converts 700c caliper to nutted
You can use this part to convert 700c brake calipers to nutted on a vintage bike. Saves me from having to drill a hole in my fork or buy expensive calipers to replace the calipers I have.

Bicycle replacement break bolt
It's the same bolt that I had broken so at least I have an extra one

Great for Side-pull Brakes.
The Rear Pivot came as described! I bought this for a client after his threads on the old one stripped. After I installed it and made some adjustments it works perfectly as intended. I needed this for side pull brakes, which aren't too common, there rare and are only found on older bikes and after going to LBS and the owner said he didn’t have any, I just waited for the one I ordered. This came later than I liked but it did show up so I have no complaints. I left instructions in the pictures. Basically if the bolt screwed at the back of the brake pivot and the bolt screwed at the front of the pivot are both too tight then when pulling the the levers the arms of the brake will go down on the rim but not back up and will not return to normal position, when the bike is in motion. Instead it prevents the wheels from moving also causing friction and rub on the rim when the pads are touching the rim. So you loosen the bolts (not all the way) but just enough so that the spring on the pivot moves both arms downwards to the rim when pulling the brake lever, and then when releasing the lever both the arms release as well. Also it’s important that the brakes and brake lever have a jerky feel to them otherwise it will be harder to stop if the brakes are going slow, in which case the brake lever, brake, brakecable, or all of them may need to be replaced. I highly recommend this product.

May have saved my life - great service!
Perfect! Fit like a glove, and arrived quickly. I literally saw no other products like this on sale. The 30 year old rear spring retainer on my daily commuter bike broke, so I had no rear brakes. Again - commuter bike. It’s how I get to work, and not riding is out of the question. I am back to feeling much more confident and safe now that I can stop properly. Call me paranoid, but I might just order another in case this particular problem ever happens again! Great product and service!

Threads strip after tightening.
On the pros, it comes with all the parts you would need. The bolt, nuts, and spacers are all there. It fits into a slot for a single pivot caliper brakes nicely. On the cons, the bolt threads are very flimsy and will strip from being tightened. And because of that, it made the part unusable. Flimsy.
