Purchased for my husband for a trip to El Salvador. He says the fit is comfortable, it keeps the sun off the top of his head and provides good ventilation. It also looks nice on him - we had a tough time finding a good brimmed hat because he wears a larger size.

I like the breezer type hats from Henshel, this is now my second one. The first is a "Safari" in large so I also ordered this second one in same size. Guess style of hat makes difference in size. This one is the "Aussie" and it fits notably bigger than the other style. So much so that I was originally going to exchange it for the medium one which arrived today.... ya guess I will be keeping the large instead because the medium is much smaller. Hard to pull down on my head smaller and does not even reach top of my ears smaller. I was really surprised by this due to the fact that my first hat being a size large and from the same company fits me so perfectly. Just lightly snug, but not tight and sits right at the top of my ears. I will be using some foam strips/inserts on the inside since their are several companies out there that make them for adjusting size of "non adjustable" hats. Other than being slightly too big everything else is perfect. The fit and finish are very well done for the price of the hat, no loose seams, color even through out, shape is clean and precise. The large size was shipped in a box with no crushing or bending to make fit... the medium one on the other had was shipped in a plastic self sealing bag. It was crushed completely flat and distorted, even if it had fit better I still would have returned it just for that alone. The brim was distorted and the crown creased in several places... not good. All and all with everything said I am a fan of the Henshel hats and would recommend to others, just make sure you measure head first and go with bigger size if you fall between sizes. Hope they ship in box and not bag also.

After reading reviews and knowing my hat size, I first ordered extra-large. Normally I wear 2X. The hat that arrived, however, was marked XL but was HUGE! Returned and ordered Large, which is about three sizes smaller than the XL, and fits perfectly. I love it! Feels good, let's air circulate, looks great (according to my wife), and seems to be well-built. I think I'll order another in a different color. Four Stars means; Better Than I Hoped For.

Finally a product with true quality emerges from the pits of Amazon. This hat is incredable. Its not your typical chinese junk from Amazon. It's an American product. Size chart was right on. Fits like it was made just for me. The color is awesome. Did I mention its aewsome quaility. It came in an envelope and I was worried when I saw it. A box or two obvisiously was placed on top of it during shipping. I pulled it out of the envelope and it popped right out. Amazingly tho it's not uncomfortably stiff, yet it holds its shape. Ever have a hat simialr to that old T shirt, you know the one the wife keeps trying thow away. Well this hat feels like that old comfortable T shirt. Hope my wife likes it. Its my new go to hat. This won't be my last purchase, got lots of birthdays coming up.

Air can easily flow thru the top of the hat keeping my head cool. The brim is just what the dermatologist ordered, attractive and protects my face from too much sun. And, the hat is stylish. Great hat.

The hat I received was smaller than one I tried on in a store that carried the same hat. I don't know if the one I tried on in a store was larger than normal or the one I received was smaller than normal but it fit close enough (a little snug) that I decided to keep it. The hat appeared to be the same as the one I saw in a store with the exception that the label on the inside of the hat appeared to be a little off. I thought the hat I received might be one that was considered flawed, but it is still a very nice hat overall.
