Is there a temperature rating on these filters, thinking using with maple syrup at 220 degrees F

Do not know an exact temperature rating but it says it is for fryer grease, you generally filter grease when it is hot for best cleansing and flow. I used mine for mineral oil/chemicals they are thick and heavy duty, very satisfied with them.

In what country are these made?

Ordered because someone said they were made in USA, but they're made in China.

Do you put it in the fryer when cooking or it for after to clean up the crumbs

It is a cone filter for when emptying the fryer

Do you strain when the oil is cooled, or hot?

For best results, drain when the oil is hot.
