The best mosquito repellent I’ve ever used!!!
This product is amazing. Mosquitoes love me. While on a mission trip, I brought this with me after doing tons of research. During the mission trip, several people kept asking me how come the flies and mosquitoes weren’t eating me up. By day three, I literally had a line of teenagers and adults waiting to borrow some of my “magic” cream as they called it.I even had people who said that they hated cream and preferred their spray. Once they witnessed how someone working with them, who used my cream, was not getting swarmed by flies and mosquitoes. They immediately came up to me and said they changed their mind.I recommend this cream to everyone. I always make sure to have someone on hand. Every trip I go on I take this with me.While the pastors stated to bring two spray bottles of mosquito repellent, I never opened up my two bottles. I only used this cream. It’s absolutely amazing! Worth every penny.

Its a good bug spray
It feels kind of silly to leave a review for a bug spray. But I like these.I HATE wearing bug sprays, sunscreens etc. Plus, I live in the South, making things even more stickier on my skin. This product doesn’t feel super gross-sticky compared to others. Its got a strong initial scent but it doesn’t linger. The bottles are a nice size/shape and nozzles spray nicely.I also got two clingy dogs that lick everything—especially my arms/legs. Do your research but I got Picaridin because they are a safer option than DEET. I still take caution around them because of the strong odor & how wide it sprays. As far as I know, Picaridin is for HUMANS & Permethrin for dogs (deadly for cats so do your research).

TBD -- highly-rated, safe and effective
I bought this highly-rated product at the end of August, but won’t be able to test it in the bug-infested woods until October.Consequently, I’ll update this review after I’ve used it in the woods.Sawyer's picaridin does NOT have an expiration date because it’s an extremely stable molecule(Sawyer's customer service agent said it’s stable for 10 years from its manufacturing date)..According to information on the Internet, Picaridin (also known as Icaridin in some countries)is widely considered one of the safest and most effective insect repellents available today.• Pros: Longest-tested; 12–14 hour protection; trusted brand• Texture: Smooth, dries quickly, non-greasy• Fragrance: Low to none• Best for All-day coverage in tropical and temperate climatesLow Toxicity to Humans• Not classified as a carcinogen, mutagen, or reproductive toxin• No evidence of neurotoxicity, even in long-term animal studies• No significant skin absorption when applied topically (remains mostly on skin surface)• Safe for use on children as young as 2 months, per CDC and WHO guidelines________________________________________Skin and Eye Safety• Non-irritating to most skin types• Less likely to cause skin reactions than DEET• Does not damage plastics, eyeglasses, synthetic fabrics, or gear, unlike DEET• Mild eye irritation can occur if accidentally rubbed into eyes — rinse with water________________________________________Pregnancy and Breastfeeding• The EPA states that no reproductive effects have been observed in animal studies• Generally considered safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but as with all topical chemicals, use the minimum amount needed________________________________________Environmental Safety• Not considered toxic to birds or mammals• Low aquatic toxicity, though should not be intentionally washed into waterways• Does not bioaccumulate in the environmentPicaridin (20%) is considered safe to apply on most exposed skin areas, including:• Face (including nose, ears, forehead, cheeks, and jawline)• Neck• Arms and hands• Legs and feetBut as with any topical repellent, how you apply it makes a difference for safety and comfort.

Bugs be gone (or at least bug bites be neutralized)
This works great in keeping the insects off me - unfortunately living in Texas in the summer the mosquitos are relentless. If I miss a spot they find it; if I forgot to put on the spray the get me. The GOOD news is that if I do get bit, I can put this spray on the bite and 10-15 minutes the itch goes away; and by morning the bite is gone! BITE BE GONE! BBG!My only complaint is that the sprayer pretty much has to be vertical for the sprayer to work. Doing my legs I tend to invert the sprayer (or at least don't keep it completely vertical) so it doesn't spray. If Sawyer could figure out a way so that it sprayed in whatever orientation (Like the Fisher Space Pen!!) my life would be complete.Buy this with confidence!

GAME CHANGER! O-Positive Folks, Listen Up!
If I could give this 100 stars, I would! I'm on my third bottle in as many months. I have recently learned that people with O-positive blood are more susceptible to mosquito bites, and that explains why I've always been a buffet to those little buggers. I live in the Midwest and this summer has been outrageous with the amount of mosquitos. I can water plants outside for 5 minutes and get bitten 15 times. I always thought that DEET was the best solution until a friend recommended picaridin. GAME CHANGER.First off, this lotion is lovely. It goes on super smooth, quick absorbing, and nearly odorless. I forget I put it on within 5 minutes. And it LASTS FOR HOURS. The bottle says 14 hours, but I mostly only reapply after swimming. The best part about this, is mosquitos do not even land on your skin. They'll buzz your arms and legs, and then quickly retreat. I have also been in the wilderness quite a bit this summer (thanks to the freedom from mosquitoes) and I have not found a single tick on myself or my clothing. Whereas, with DEET, I have still found them on clothes occasionally.I'm a convert to picaridin and plan on being a life long user! One 4 ounce bottle usually lasts me about a month, when rubbing on my exposed arms, legs, and neck.
