Love this product the magnetic base makes it easy to position and holds mig perfectly

I use it on my welding table. And it does what they advertise. Also, use it where I’m welding.

I item is well built. It holds my Mig gun in the idea position. Arrived earlier than promised..

I bought the Mig Buddy because I did not love the other Mig gun holders that hold at the neck of the gun. I liked the concept of holding it at that handle and that it provides a more upright natural position to grab and place. I have a Miller MultiMatic 255 with the new MDX 250 gun. This gun was not listed on the site, so I reached out to the company for verification. The company responded the same day and was helpful in the information provided. While they did not have specifics for my gun, they thought it would most likely fit and worse case the holder might require a little file work if any fitment issue occurred. The MDX 250 fit perfectly with no modification.I used the magnet base and it is VERY stout. It will not go anywhere... and it not a "dainty, have to be careful with it kind of deal" while placing and removing the gun. It is sturdy without concern for it falling over during use. It also comes with a U-Bolt scenario with block to attach to the handle of about any welding cart if you don't desire to magnet it to your table.It comes with all the screws and hardware you need. It also comes with a red insert that is secured with a set screw to facilitate a proper fit for smaller guns.This is a great product, yes its a little more spendy then some of the magnet holders that are simply a bent piece of aluminum with cuts in it... but I think it was worth spending the extra for the way it holds the gun upright, and the neck of my gun does not get all scratched up (yeah I am OCD like that).

How did I ever go without one. Now I can keep my new gun looking new instead of laying it around on everything. I need another one for my angle grinder now fits perfectly.

I am glad I purchased this mig gun holder, it makes storing the gun so much easier. It also has a hanger for extra wires such as the ground clamp. It is very simple design, easy to assemble, and comes with either a magnetic base or option to mount with supplied clamp. I liked the "weld done" sticker that's why I included it in the pictures.
