Is there a main difference between this and normal shoe goo?

Will this fix cracks in the bottom of boot soles?

Even though I have not used it for that, I think the glues is tough enough to plug them up and bind for quite awhile. I would use a file or something to rough up the areas near the cracks and clean very well with a detergent first. When completely dry, force it into the cracks to the inner sole and wipe level with the bottom. I think it should work. I used this stuff for years to glue rubber patches on the soles of daywear shoes even as a kid, and the shoes have lasted me years. Of course, when there is not much sole left on the shoe, you have a problem. :)

Can I use this to seal uncured leather in my shoe interior? The smooth finished surface peeled off and the uncured leather stains my socks.
