EIZO ColorEdge CS2730 27" Hardware Calibration IPS LCD Monitor 2560x1440 CS2730-BK

After having the BenQ SW2700PT for a couple of months, actually went thru four total, I decided to buy the Eizo CS2730. Is it expensive at $1177.00 USD? Well considering the ink and paper I was wasting using the BenQ I'd say no! A complete set of ink for my printer is over $500.00 USD so saving ink and paper over the long run makes up for the price difference between the BenQ and Eizo. I read in another post that we photographers even serious amateurs will spend $1000 on a lens but cheap out on a monitor to process the photos. That sat with me while making the decision to buy the Eizo.After unpacking and setting up the monitor then calibrating it the real test was the print. Well I can only say it was a great to get it right on the first print. Make no mistake once you have this monitor setup correctly it is worth every cent. The DUE (Digital Uniformity Equalizer) can't be turned off only changed from uniformity to brightness as a consequence contrast does take a tiny hit and there is no contrast control adjustment. I've not found this to be troublesome. That stated the uniformity of this screen is incredible under 5% error in luminescence and under 90K in color temp across a 27 inch screen. Keep in mind though neither i1DisplayPro or DisplayCal have the correct spectral correction for this screen. It is sort of an ad lib situation to check the uniformity using them let your eyes and prints be your guide. This is also a true 10 bit screen not an 8 bit one emulating 10 bit like the BenQ SW2700PT or the NEC PA272W. There is a very good review at the PRAD website of this monitor.

IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT BUYING AN EIZO DISPLAY TRUST ME DO NOT. Their customer service is terrible and their craftsmanship is awful. If you want your display fixed under warranty you will have to pay the shipping out of pocket. In my case already spent $200 to have the new one shipped to me when I purchased it and now they want me to spend another $200 to ship it to them to fix their crummy craftsmanship. All because I unplugged my display port ONE TIME and when plugging it in again it no longer works. HDMI works so it’s simple a faulty display port. Also the bezel looks to be parting from the screen in some areas of the monitor. Piece of crap monitor and the absolute worse customer service I have dealt with.Eizo monitors are already over priced and nothing special. Buy a Dell ultra sharp or a BenQ. You will spend less and get better quality all around. TRUST ME.. EIZO IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY

Ich hatte mir zuerst den BenQ SW2700PT geholt, da dieser ebenfalls "hardwarekalibrierbar" ist aber günstiger. Nach ein paar frustrierten Tagen ging er zurück und ich habe mich für den Eizo entschieden. Ich muss gestehen, dass ich das Thema Farbmanagement nicht gleich verstanden habe und etwas Zeit brauchte. Die Ergebnisse sind einfach absolut zuverlässig und für Leute, die einen Farbstich nicht akzeptabel finden, jeden Cent wert. Eizo ist nicht günstig aber man kann sich eben auf das was man sieht verlassen.

C'est Whaooou !Si vous possédez déjà une sonde il est pour vous ; inutile de dépenser plus.Les réglages de bases sRVB et ADOBE98 sont déjà très bien ajustés en usine et il est parfaitement utilisable pour démarrer en toute confiance, sans contrôle. L'uniformité lumineuse mesurée est entre 0 et 2%. Les dégradés de gris sont parfaitement lisses.Le Logiciel ColorNavigator (en anglais), est simple et intuitif si vous avez déjà calibré un écran avec votre sonde. Il permet de passer d'un standard à l'autre rapidement par une icone dans la barre de tâches (Windows10). Passez à la version 7.03 de suite sur le site EIZO (Attention, les versions à télécharger Windows/Apple sont inversées : .pkg = Apple et .exe = Windows).C'est une calibration hardware, pensez à décocher "Utilisez l'étalonnage de l'écran Windows" dans la gestion des couleurs/avancé/, même si un profil ICC est crée à chaque étalonnage.Ce que j'ai particulièrement apprécié et qui n'est pas vraiment appréciable dans la lecture des caractéristiques, c'est la QUALITE DE LA DALLE ANTIREFLETS : aucune granularité perceptible ; l'écran est d'un beau blanc uniforme et propre.Certes il est cher, mais il le vaut bien et sa stabilité intrinsèque devrait le faire durer plus longtemps.

Der Monitor ist mit einem guten Colorimeter (ich benutze hier x-rite i1 Display Pro) nicht nur ziemlich schnell Kalibriert, man kann auch mit wenigen Mauslicks direkt und vor allem schnell zwischen Kalibrierungszielen umschalten. Die Ausleuchtung ist auch von der Seite gleichmäßig, die Farben passen auch noch 100h nach der Kalibrierung. Für schnelle, hektische Spiele klar nur bedingt geeignet, dafür ist der Monitor etwas zu träge und hat zu viel input lag - aber dafür kauft man sich eigentlich auch keinen Grafik-Monitor.

Sin darse cuenta de la marca, después de leer unas cuantas críticas que decidí optar por un Eizo por su reputación de qualidade.nao hay duda en relación al color estoy bastante satisfecho y sin embargo, así que se llama el monitor fue inmediatamente decepcionado con el llamada IPS glow. Con la configuración de fabrica, las manchas son considerablemente visibles en una habitación con alguna iluminación. Esperar una respuesta de Eizo para saber si tengo una unidad dañada o si es normal en el modelo cs2730.

Ho acquistato questo monitor in sostituzione dell'EIZO S1931 poiché mi serviva uno schermo più grande.Questo modello rispetto al precedente è di un livello nettamente superiore, con il supporto completo dello spazio AdobeRGB.Ho effettuato la calibrazione con il software in dotazione e l'x-rite eye one display 2, l'operazione è risultata estremamente semplice dato che il software è in grado di dialogare direttamente con il monitor tramite il cavo USB e impostare tutti i parametri basandosi sulle letture del calibratore.Lavorare con DaVinci Resolve e Lightroom è un vero piacere grazie ai 27" e all'elevata risoluzione di cui dispone.

Ottimo prodotto. Inizialmente avevo ordinato un altro modello "Eizo EV2750" ma nonostante si tratti di un buon monitor non è consigliato per il ritocco fotografico..ho allora deciso di sostituirlo spendendo un po di più con il CS2730..e devo dire che ne è proprio valsa la pena!

Buon monitor, tante calibrazioni possibili. Per una accurata calibrazione colore ha bisogno di sonda esterna da comprare a parte. Rispetto a un retina a molto meno contrasto, si potrebbe migliorare. Però non affatica gli occhi. Comodo il tasto on/off se non si vuole mettere in stop il computer con disco ssd. Da provare con il paraluce

Ursprünglich habe ich auch mit einem 4k Monitor für die Grafik/ Fotobearbeitung geliebäugelt.Da der Monitor aber auch im Homeoffice mit Büroanwendungen stundenlang genutzt wird , musste eine Vernunftslösung ran.Mit den 2k sind auch Office Büroanwendungen mit nativer Auflösung akzeptabel , ohne auf Skalierungen für Symbol - oder Schriftgröße zurückgreifen zu müssen. Und auch für PS ist es eine Wohltat. Kalibrierung muss noch erfolgen, hoffe aber auf ebenfalls Top Ergebnisse

Monitor molto valido per il ritocco fotografico!Colori stupendi, credo sia uno dei migliori sul mercato. La dimensione di 27" è l'ideale.Consigliato!

Ho acquistato questo monitor dopo averlo avuto nel carrello per un anno. Devo dire che ho fatto la scelta giusta. Ottima definizione, luminosità eccellente e uniforme in tutti gli angoli dello schermo. Il monitor definitivo. Non credo che cambierò monitor per i prossimi 10 anni.

Ein Monitor der seinen Preis wert ist. Sehr gute Farbwiedergabe, kein flimmern. Eine sehr gute Reaktionszeit. Mein nächster wird nur noch eine Nummer größer sein.

Nach viel hin und her mit Monitoren andere Hersteller bin ich nun endlich zufrieden. Ein Helligkeitssensor und ein modernes Design wären zwar schön gewesen, aber die Bildqualität ist super und das ist am wichtigsten.

Es wurde schon viel Gutes über diesen Monitor geschrieben und ich kann mich nur anschließen.Die Optik ist fehlerfrei und gleichmäßig und kalibriert, in meinem Fall mit Spyder 4, fallen die Ausdrucke völlig kongruent aus.

Prodotto da 5stelle! Perfetto nei colori, realistico e soprattutto non ho avuto bisogno di calibrazione il profilo calibrato dalla casa è già perfetto.

C'è poco da dire, è EIZO.
