Italian Cut Mixed Candied Peel Waitrose 200g

Product was cut finer than any I've seen before, but the Date-Nut Christmas cookies I made with it today came out delicious! I would recommend this citron for you bakers out there.

This mixed peel arrived in the midwest USA from England in a little over a week perfectly packed. The product is exactly what I expected flavoring my hot cross buns perfectly. i look forward to using it and reordering it often.

I don't want artificial colours and flavours in my food. Thanks to this mixed peel I made a delicious holiday fruitcake the real old fashioned way without all those fake neon colours in most candied fruit ingredients. So glad to get this. I had to make my own natural glace cherries but making mixed peel is harder and this saved time.

Also has terrible waxy texture and disappointing flavor like the Asda. They were pretty much indistinguishable in their badness. Turns out it’s easy to make and 100x better.

Very poor packaging. Container was sticky and flimsy. Product looked like it sat in a hot container for awhile. Quality was not good and I did not use it in my holiday baking.
