At the Gates of Loyang

The game is extremely overpriced! Probably do to TMG going out of business. It is one of Uve's most known games and part of harvest trilogy. It will probably be reprinted by another company at a significantly lower price. The game itself is good but it's the least popular in the trilogy that also includes Agricola and Le Havre.

I chose "At the Gates of Loyang" as my first Uwe Rosenberg game. I am very pleased with my decision. This game has proven to be an excellent gateway into solo Euro gaming for me. I find it just challenging enough to where I still have to practice and improve my score to be successful, but am having a great time in the learning process. I like the theme and love the tactile feel of the various wooden tokens. I think this will be fun as a 2-player game as well.

Great 2 player game, haven't had the occasion to play more yet, but also tried the 1 player version, tricky but really nice. Takes a good 2h to play. If you like Agricola, this game is for you!

This is a good game, as all of Uwe's are, and is one of the best for quick solo plays.I prefer Nujsford, but love this, as well. Totally different games, though.The cardboard coins are upgradable with cheap metal, here on Amazon.

This is a great game and please amazing at all player counts (including 2P!!). It's the perfect length and deepness for ever level of gamer, except Novice.Watch out, though, as Amazon still has trouble shipping a game without damaging it. If it arrives with a dented corner be sure to mention it to them!!

Amazing game, we can’t stop playing it. A fantastic two player and solo game. It is pretty simple but, from the first turn extremely tight with agonizing decisions and it can be punishing.

Fantastic game. I enjoy this game much more than I expected. I imagined this to be kind of like Agricola in its prototype, but it turned out that I like this one better than vanilla agricola. It has simple rules but offers great depth and variability. Very enjoyable and fun to play. The component quality is fine too.
