Easy fix for failed recoil starters
This part from this Amazon vendor was priced very fairly. The spring on my old starter had failed, and was impossible to rewind, despite more than 2 hours of effort. I looked online, and Amazon had an OEM part from a dealer that had great pricing and fast shipping. Product worked perfectly, and was very simple to install. Very Happy !!!

easier than replacing just the spring
the recoil spring broke on the old rewind so instead oof fighting with the spring to get the right tension on it for it to recoil the pull string much this is much easier to change the whole rewind
