Awesome wallet! Stylish, functional, and fun!
I've had this wallet for a couple of months now and I must say I still absolutely love it! I've had plenty of black or brown wallets over the years, but I'm glad I went for the blue color. Nice difference to the norm and it looks great. The color of the leather and metal portion compliment each other very well.I am asked about it and get positive comments constantly, especially when they see the switch mechanism to pop the cards out. And I have to admit, it's so cool and fun to do. Maybe it's the kid in me (or engineering nerd) but I love playing with it and look forward to each time I'm at a check out or somewhere to show my ID.Some people prefer the one which snaps closed (because if lots of cash in the wallet then it's bulky and stands open). I personally like this one without the snap / clamp:* It's sleeker and thin and slides in the front pocket easily (main reason for a thin wallet).* while in your pocket it is held closed anyway.* I like being able to quickly open it by simply unfolding it and not have to deal with an extra un-snap step (just my preference).* and if don't like the look of it popped open when sitting on your table or dresser, just put it with the flap side down so the weight of the waller keeps it closed (see pics attached). All the color choices and clamp options aside, either way it's a great wallet! Whichever options you chose per your personal preference, you won't be disappointed. And may also find the pop up mechanism so much fun that you rather use your card to pay instead of the phone apps, just so you get the chance to play with it.

Modern, sleek wallet that keeps cards organized
I went from having a fat billfold wallet where I kept stashing receipts and cash, to carrying just my cards and ID loosely in my pocket. I did that for a few months so I knew I was ready to a minimalist wallet such as the Secrid slim wallet.Things I like:Feels like good leather. Great color (vintage chocolate). Cool card pop up system works as advertised (this will definitely get some attention!) Couple extra pockets inside for infrequently used cards. Fits comfortably in my front pocket, even with my keys.Dislikes:Not much. I can probably do without the plastic bill holder inside. It does feel kinda cheap, and it creates a little gap between the leather and the aluminum case right along the fold. It's definitely not a deal breaker as it's still a clean, sleek look. I'm also worried about about the durability of the glue used to attach the case, though I've seen enough reviews from people who have had their wallets for years who haven't had issues.I did have second thoughts about getting the slim over the mini. The slim may not feel as rigid and secure without the button to hold everything together, but it makes up for it with a nice clean look and slightly less bulk.Overall I'm very happy with the purchase. It was also nice to get it here for slightly less than directly through Secrid. And no, it's not a fake. I was able to register the product with Secrid and a certificate of authenticity was produced using the serial number on the wallet.

but it feels great. I've been using a TGT wallet
Just received it today, but it feels great. I've been using a TGT wallet, which I like a lot but I like this because there's a bit more room. The RFID protector adds a little weight and thickness, but that's expected. It's not much. I've been used to my TGT which is a glorified rubber band (elastic and a little leather) so anything I purchased would have been heavier and thicker. Not sure why not some reviews say the leather isn't good. I'm a big wallet guy and have several, including Montblanc, Tumi, etc. The leather is softer than a stiff Montblanc, but a still leather wouldn't work with the compactness of this wallet. The RFID protector holds 5 cards. I have four credit cards and a drivers license and it's smooth as butter. I tried another flat card (work ID) but no bueno. Too tight. The inside pockets fit 2-3 cards each comfortably. I put my Costco, Sam's, work ID, an unused gift card, and my medical card in those two pockets with no issue. They are too small for business cards (if yours are longer than a credit card). That would have been ideal for me but I have an iphone case that holds those. I don't have a lot of experience with the v-shaped cash holder inside. I threw a 20 in there with no issue but I could see having to put the bills in laid flat rather than folding in half if there's more than 3 bills. Folding those 4+ bills into 1/4's would probably add some girth to the wallet and not close as easily. I would highly recommend this wallet and I'll give a lb update if that changes. Don't see any issues with the RFID and wallet connection. Don't see how people can be surprised that they're glued together. They're two different materials (one is soft and one is hard) so how else would they bond? Great wallet so far.

Perfect for card hoarders!
Functionality:This wallet is absolutely perfect (for those who have the same needs as myself). When it says it first 4-6 cards, it means that it fits up to 5 non-raised cards and 1 raised, or 3 non-raised and 2 raised. The inside holds another 4 cards. The cash holder is fine for up to 2-3 bills. I'd say beyond 3 and the wallet doesn't close properly. It's clearly made for those who rarely use cash. The lever that releases the cards is great. You can easily hold the wallet and pull the lever with your pinky for one handed use.Design:The wallet is gorgeous and very well made. It is much smaller than I anticipated, but in all the best ways possible. It is unnoticeable in it's size, which is a great thing, but very noticeable for it's design, which is also great.I highly recommend this wallet if you primarily use cards, bus tickets, metro cards, etc. and limited cash!
