Warmer than other sock liners
For years I bought my sock liners at SportMart and then Sports Authority. They would only have one type available, either Fox River or a similar brand. They weren't the Therm-A-Wick model. I was just buying them to add an extra layer under my socks in cold weather to keep my feet warmer, which they did. I didn't know anything about the moisture-wicking that sock liners are supposed to do, and I can't speak to that because my feet don't sweat much in cold weather. I did like how easy it was to pull on my regular socks over the sock liners. My older Fox River liners never seem to wear out, but I occasionally lose them as I do laundry in a laundry room of my apartment building, so I have to replace them periodically. I tried one pair of silk sock liners from Lands End, and I didn't like them as much as I thought I would; the material was not as slippery and not as thin and so it is harder to pull my socks on over them; also they are wearing out much faster and getting close to developing holes in them. I can't seem to find sock liners in local sports stores that are as smooth as the Fox River ones I already owned, so I went online and found that Fox River has a model of liners that are specifically for cold weather! (I think the Fox River liners I already had were made more for heavy exercise in warm weather, to help with sweating). So I bought a pair of these Therm-A-Wick socks and they really do keep my feet a little bit warmer than my other Fox River liners, and are nearly as smooth and thin as well, so still easy to get my socks over them. I just bought a second pair! They only come in white, I would love to have some in black, but that's not really a big deal for me. I would not wear these Therm-A-Wick sock liners under regular socks in warm weather, in fact I don't wear any sock liners in temperatures above 50 degrees Fahrenheit; my feet would be too warm. I never wear these on their own, only under other socks.

Run smaller length wise than standard socks
These socks fit tight which is fine but I wasn't used to a sock coming about 3 inches above the ankle. I called and they told me this was standard for a crew sock to come about 4" above the ankle. They did work as described under heavier socks but did not test them over a long term. They seem to be well made and I have tried nylon socks but they did not work well. I have a wide foot and they thought that was the reason for them not coming slightly higher over the ankle.

Comfortable, cool socks.
Color is a little off-white, but they're of good quality. Comfortable and cool.

Great dress sock that was a semi sweat sock feel.

Very helpful for both men and women to wear under thick wool winter socks.
Keeps your thick woolen winter socks cleaner and keeps your feet from itching as well. Handwash these or wash on cold gentle or maybe warm and drip dry. I can rewear my thick socks if it's cold and I don't wear them too long, so long as I have these sock liners. Also, it keeps your feet warmer to have this added layer. I used to by silk liners but they are very expensive now, so I used these and they work well. Would love them to be cheaper but they are still worth buying.

Warm, dry, not binding in the leg, and great price!
These are cut a little wider in the leg and at the top than the thinner Fox River lightweight liners I bought that I think were CoolMax or some other fabric. I like the wider cut, since I don't like things that are binding and leave marks. These are cut very slightly large in the foot, which is fine. I plan to machine dry them on low anyway. They are incredibly comfortable. I wear these under my Ragg Wool thick socks, and this is for wearing with my insulted Vivobarefoot smooth leather boots, for wintery cold or wet days. The liners keep my feet dry and warm. The boots make my feet perspire and without the ragg wool socks I get moisture on the socks. With these under the socks, my feet are dry, warm, and comfortable and I can walk for miles, even on the sidewalks of Chicago or the suburbs. Great price, too.
