Exact Pirate Shirt Jack Sparrow Costume

I thought future buyers should know this is not exactly "exact", but it is definitely worthy of your consideration if you need a "pretty darn close" one!To make the claim of being an exact replica of Jack Sparrow's shirt leads one to have certain screen-accurate expectations, and this shirt falls short of being exact on several marks.It's a nicely weighted cotton material, not too thin and not flimsy, but a much (MUCH) higher "v" neck than Jack's, and the lapels/collar were nowhere near as wide as Jack's actual shirt.Also, most pirate shirts are cut to be "loose" fitting, and you usually buy one in your size knowing it will be roomy; but this one runs rather snug (I bought a large, and I wear a size large in regular shirts). It's not so tight as to be uncomfortable, but it takes a bit of finagling to get it off.There are buttons at the cuffs, so your sleeves may be kept down and in place, but I don't believe Jack's exact shirt had buttons at the cuffs. The sleeves for mine are just long enough that they can be buttoned, but it's a bit tight from shoulder/armpit- to-cuff (I wear a 34 inch sleeve, this might be a 33)If you want an exact "Jack Sparrow" shirt, you might be disappointed in this one;but: if you want a decent quality "pirate", poet, or general ren faire shirt, order a size larger than you normally wear and you will find it to be a good purchase! I bought this for my birthday/halloween party costume. I went as Jack Sparrow. It fit good, washed great and I just air dried it in case it might shrink. I ironed it before I wore it and it looked great. It completed my costume and looked the part perfectly. It was comfortable and the size was about what I expected it to be.

I’m allergic to everything but cotton, so finding this pirate tunic so easily and quickly was great when I was in a bind. The shirt is a little bigger than I was expecting but the cuffs keep it from falling too far down your sleeves

This is not exact nor even close, yeah it's not what's described it is more like a general medieval shirt!

Shirt was as described, very good.

Terrible quality. Worth maybe $12. Thin. Single seam. Small. No way to fasten huge cuffs. Waste of money.

Wrinkly cotton material looks old and authentic. Good historic look. No fasteners on the longish cuffs so could be a problem...and a little large. But altogether a good value and decent quality.

Great for a Captain Jack outfit.
