Except for the price this is by far the best stollen I have ever bought. Born in Germany, to German parents, I grew up with plenty of aunts, parent and my "omi" making Stollen every year for Christmas. But, I have turned into a lazy ' American' and prefer to buy. My one and only comment/ complaint is the price. I would buy more but can't afford it 😢

This is decent tasting stollen. But I was extremely disappointed to discover that the ingredients were not the same as the version in the red packaging. This version is not made with any butter!! In my opinion, butter is essential to authentic tasting stollen. It adds a lightness that palm and canola oil cannot match. Get the same brand in the red box and skip this version unless you don't like butter.

Gave this to my German brother in law for his birthday! It arrived two days ago and it is almost gone! He said it is delicious. Thanks for the great product!

I only took one bite and now I feel sick to my stomach. It looks like this loaf has been in the warehouse since last Christmas. The icing is very deteriorated and the loaf is as dense as fruit cake. It may have been good when fresh. I went to the bakers web site to order it direct but they said they weren’t taking any more orders for this year, so chose to order online. This loaf was shipped from Las Vegas, it’s definitely a gamble ordering from these people. Appears like they order it from the bakery and then store it for any sucker who comes along.

Exceptional product and I was pleasantly surprised with the superior quality. I was a little skeptical of buying this "mail order" but the flavor and especially the texture of the cake made this a great choice. Real nice mouth feel and a joy to enjoy.

This is the third stollen I've ordered this season. It is in the middle as far as quality. The taste is good, but not enough candied fruit. The dough lacks richness. It's butter that sets great stollen apart.

My husband recently visited Germany and brought a stollen home with him. We enjoyed it so much we wanted to buy another to have for the holidays. I purchased this Emil Reimann Dresdner Stollen - and it was absolutely delicious. It came in a box and was wrapped nicely so all the powdered sugar was still in place when we opened it. It was fresh, moist and everyone loved it. Would definitely buy it again.

I thought this will make a great grakfast or a snack with afternoon tea. It was too sweet, too much sweet inside and not the sugary coating. Less sweet and more flavurful would be nice
