Great product. Put it down a couple of months ago and no weeds coming up through it as yet. Wasn’t convinced at first as the water stayed on top, but once I put bark chips on top it’s fine. Will purchase more for the raised veg bed.

We used this weed mat in our front garden in front of our fence as we wanted to stop the weeds from coming through once we had put broken slate down on top of the mat and to then put potted plants on. My partner was really impressed with the quality of this mat as we had done the same the other side of the garden a good few years ago now and we had brought that weed mat from a DIY/garden centre and that was no where near as good quality as this one. He also said this weed mat is easy to use and cut to the size he needed. The size is 1mx10m and the price seems really reasonable.

I was pleased to try this 'Brackit Non-Woven Weed Membrane Roll; 1m x 10m 40gsm Black Geotextile – UV Stabilisation Weed Control Fabric'. I love using this type of weed membrane between rows of runner beans and also to plant sweetcorn - cutting crosses and planting through. It keeps the weeds away, lets the water through and acts as a barrier keeping the moisture from evaporating away as quickly. I usually anchor it down with galvanised 'U' shaped metal pegs and put some wood chips over the top for aesthetics.The roll is 1 metre wide by 10 metres long. It is a soft black fabric, with good tear resistance and is easy to cut to size. Although at 40gsm, it is not the thick woven type, it still lasts very well and does not deteriorate year on year. We have had similar under stones and it is still intact 15 years later.The current price of £15.95 is fine, in my opinion, as it is a good amount, a convenient size and well made.

It is a good size to use for my little garden. I planned to work on one part of it and it’s good to lay this membrane as part of the steps. It is good length and the thickness is just right. I think it is a quality one to purchase.

Decent size roll for coverage in terms of price point. Comes packaged in a good box so no tears or damage upon receipt.So far so good in terms of use and holding back the weeds but time will tell.Easy to fit, cut and unroll.
