Worked flawlessly for 4+ years in my BMW F650GS

This battery has been running like a champion in my BMW F650GS with the original Austrian-made single-cylinder, single-spark Rotax engine. I have tortured it in engine-overheating conditions in California's Central Valley and Alaska's freezing North Slope and let it sit in the bike without charging for months and it still starts without hesitation every time. I had previously installed a smaller Battery Tender lithium battery which failed quickly, with one of the pouch cells inside swelled to near bursting. The light weight and freedom from acid fumes/leakage potential are nice, but it's really the peace of mind when riding deep into sketchy areas that make the cost of lithium easily worth it to me.This model seems discontinued and the Deltran's application guide isn't clear which current battery to use on my particular engine but the cost difference is marginal so definitely spring for the larger 270 CCA battery.
