Great set, mask is comfortable with good seal, snorkel is good design.
My husband and I are scuba divers and we took our 6 year old to cozumel. He had frequent ear infections as a toddler and had tubes put in his ears so when he was younger his ears couldn't be submerged in water. The tubes are out now, but he is afraid of putting his face in water. I was apprehensive about getting him to snorkel because I wanted it to be fun for him but I knew we would be battling his fear. Anyone with a child knows that once they get afraid, they freak out and it is nearly impossible to get them to keep doing something let alone enjoy it.We started a few weeks before the trip in the bathtub. I started with the mask. I got the mask on and slowly got him to put his face in the water. He kept getting scared and this process took a long time, but he liked that he could see in the water. He said he was too afraid because he couldn't breathe so he asked to use the snorkel with the mask. (Yay!) We put the snorkel on the mask and he did it! He excitedly put his face in the water and breathed through the snorkel! Here is where product quality comes into play. First, my son was afraid of the mask. If it had been uncomfortable or biting in any way, he would freak out. This mask is very comfortable. He even told me that.Second, while working through his fear, we took the mask on and off and on and off about a million times. This mask is very easy to loosen and tighten and get on and off. Helpful in keeping his fear from rising to panic and keeping me from getting frustrated.Third, the mask had a great seal. No water got in. A couple times, we didn't have the seal quite right and water got it and he freaked out. It helped me show him where the mask should be and what tightness. When the mask was on right, no water got in at all.Fourth, the snorkel is a great design. It traps the little excess water at the bottom so it doesn't sound or feel like he is breathing water. It was clear and easy for him.The fins were comfortable although he usually preferred not to use them.We took him snorkeling in the pool a few times and in the ocean. He saw fish, coral, lobsters, and even a shark. Despite this being a collection of some of his worst fears, he did very well and actually enjoyed himself. I am very glad I did lots of research ahead of time and picked this particular snorkel set for him to work with.

Excellent set for kids, worth the money!
We've bought a new snorkel, mask, dive set for the kids every year. They use them in the pool, yet every year the sets we buy fall apart. Usually the mask viewing area comes apart from the housing, the snorkel plastic washer element breaks and the flippers never fit right. This is the first set that is actually built well and works very well. I've heard no complaining from the kids, parts are easy to adjust and the material seems to be much higher quality and built much better than any set we've bought for them. Our kids are 7 and 9 and this set works great, we bought one for each of our sons, -i'd recommend it.

Made in Thailand! Great quality.
The mask is great and the fins are superior for the junior swimmer. The fin adjustment straps are great and they have quick disconnect buckles of easy on off. The mask has an easy adjust head strap and has held tight so far with no need to readjust. The snorkel was just okay. The check valve on the snorkel wasn't working properly and it just seemed a little "cheaper" quality than the rest of the set. The whole set was made in Thailand and again is very good quality versus the typical Chinese made "stuff".

Great product!
I bought this for my son. It is well made and actually a decent set for a child. The snorkel can be submerged without filling with water. The mask fits well and seals well. The fins work well and adjust to size. The set comes with a mesh carrying bag so everything can dry in the bag. Good set for a good value.

Quality for a great price
Perfect! First off, I have a 4 yr old who wears a shoe size 10/11 toddler so I ordered the small size. The mask and snorkel fit perfectly and are extremely easy to adjust, and the fins fit him both barefoot for the pool and with 5mm booties for when I take him snorkeling in a few months! I’m actually quite shocked at the quality, usually when I buy sporting goods for my 4yr old they end up being cheap or toy like versions of the regular size item, but these are fantastic. Absolutely can’t beat the price for something that will clearly last.

Nice and Smooth
Honestly, I was a little hesitant to purchase this set on line, but am glad I did. The mask is perfect, no hard, scratchy spots. The fins are smooth to the feet. I've purchased a child's set from the store, only to get home and notice it was cheaply made and uncomfortable. Granddaughter has already learned to snorkel with the on-line set.

Nice set for kids!
Got this set for my 7 year old daughter. She wanted to be able to go snorkeling with daddy. Everything fits her well and works properly. The mask fogs up but nothing a little defogger spray won’t fix! The fins feel very strong. Stronger that her dads set that we paid $80 for!I was worried that the mouth piece was going to be to bit but it fits perfectly! Also comes with a little mesh bag to store and carry everything in which is a great extra!Highly recommend these for any young snorkeler!

Fins Good... Mask and ESPECIALLY snorkel not so great....
Fins are great, fit small feet well, the mask however, is the same size as the 4570, bu, lxl, PROMATE Junior Snorkeling Scuba and was too bid for the 5 year old face. We have to find another mask elsewhere. We also purchased he XLX Sized (blue)kids set from this same vendor. The snorkel is the DRY type, which means it ha a valve that swings closed when it goes below the surface if the water. This is exactly what we wanted, BUT the PROBLEM IS THAT IT DOESN'T ALWAYS SWING BACK OPEN !! there seems to be some detente in the hinge that sometimes prevents it from re-opening, unless you manually reach up and touch it. We bought two of these and one is the problem, and the other seems ok. I would call it cheap manufacturing. Some folks cried DANGER DANGER in their reviews, but it was not too difficult to teach our 5 y.o. grandson to just spit out the mouthpiece if it got stuck. No real danger here, unless you are determined to keep the thing in your mouth even if plugged up by the valve... Just spit it out... We did however have to spend some $$ to get a replacement as it seemed to get worse and worse and it was like not worth having.
