These brushes were soft enough for the face, and easy enough to use with the handle. I had toyed with getting one of the battery operated facial cleaning brushes but opted for these to try first. They could have been a bit more tapered to get into areas along side the nose. I considered returning them, but for the money they were worth a shot. I normally use a facial exfoliating scrub sponge.

For people: the bristles are too stiff and sharp, it feels like washing you face with a pumice stone.so i stopped using it - but I also hate wasting money and returning things so...For cats: great. my cat has a little bit of feline acne and this is fine enough that it cleanses her little kitty face hairs quite well.

I’m going to be returning these as they are too stiff bristles. They do not feel good on your face.

These brushes are so scratchy! The bristles are so stiff - more like a pot scrubber than for your face. Definitely not soft and gentle like most facial brushes. Too bad, because they are a nice size, cute colors and not a bad deal for the money. Buy these if you want to peel your skin off!

These are not safe for face skin. Much too rough. Will cause dryness and damage.
