this is the ticket for keeping your herbs fresh if you need long term storage. i keep mine in it with a couple of Bovida 62% packs and weeks later the herbs are as fresh and moist as the day i brought them home.EDIT - after about 3 months, it lost it's ability to seal. you'd pump it and a few minutes later the lid would be loose again.

Even more crucial than the fact that this thing does not keep a seal at all. It is a completely useless item and serves no purpose whatsoever. But even more Troublesome is the total lack of customer service from this company. Literally a dozen emails went on replied. They do not care whatsoever for their customer base. Very poor company and a very poor product. Avoid.

I give it three stars because it keep losing seal when store in place where temperature changes widely. I kept my in garage cabinet and it can get very cold at night and that could have cause it to loose seal. When I kept inside my home then it kept it seal for awhile.

Pump works, indicator works, stays sealed so far, but does not retain smell well:

The vacuuming mechanism works great and gives a very tight seal which makes it impossible to pull off the lid! Together with two Boveda Humidipak 62% inside, herb is being preserved perfectly so far.I give one star less because there is an odor leakage through the pressure indicator, a little rubber button which pops in if the vacuum is generated and pops out if you release the pressure.I fixed this issue by glueing a coin over the pressure indicator hole on the inside of the lid, which prevents further odor leakage. See attached image for a better understanding.

Works great I use boost packs with mine I have two of them now and the best way to extract air is depending on 15 to 17 to 20 pumps depending on how you fill it and that should help prevent suctioned n loss. The date indicator is to individual cate the date of which you remember to position the month is to locate it on the point of the pump container bellow edge and should help you remember the date you stored it no directions on how to use the product but it is self explanatory. I love this product.!

I was skeptical about the other reviews but this container loses its seal after like 2 days! This has happened about 4 times now. I wanted to wait to make sure I was not doing anything wrong or being hasty. This jar sucks. I cannot trust it with my stuff.There is a reason it’s like half off from when it was first being sold...
