This pleases me.
So far so good. My balls and wiener fit nicely and everything feels secure. I slapped myself and it felt good - unlike the last cup I bought (Shock Doctor brand + compression shorts), which moved around too much to be of use during Jiu-jitsu. The unique shape of this cup is quite comfortable and I'm happy with the feel.Update: I've been using this a few times a week during kickboxing and jiu-jitsu and it's going well. It's not too uncomfortable most the time, but it does seem to get in the way sometime when I roll. If I need to close my legs tightly, sometimes the cup has slid down a little bit and the wide part causes issues. Other than that, pretty good stuff.

A lot has Changed over the Years!
It has been a while since needing to wear a protective cup. And to be honest, I was not looking forward since I remember them to be uncomfortable. All I can say is that a lot has changed over the years. I use this for umpiring behind the dish. This is very comfortable and I recommend it to anybody looking for a cup. The best way I found to wear it is to have it over compression shorts or performance underwear. Then use an athletic supporter to keep it in place. Do not use a supporter with a cup holder. It just does not work well and moved too much. I hope this helps.6.9.2016 Update - Removed one star for my review from 5 to 4, Would like to give it 3.5 stars but no way of doing so, Reason is the jock strap has already started to fail. The sewing of the elastic bands are starting to come apart after only a few uses. I have seen this detailed in other reviews and the problem is real. I really did not buy it for the strap but it would of been nice to have it hold up longer than 6 outings.

Best...Cup...Ever.
This is, by far, the best cup I have ever used. It has an anatomically-correct shape/design that disperses the pain to other parts of the body, instead of to the testicles. I am an outdoor and an indoor box lacrosse goalie, who has SHATTERRED three cups before. This cup leaves the player with virtually no pain, and a clear peace of mind to make the next save, and the next save, without having to worry about the pain from a shot to the genitals. It's only about 30 bones, which is very close to the price of a conventional, traditional cup, yet it is such a superior product. I would recommend it, without hesitation, to anybody playing a contact sport and/or goalie in a fast-paced sport. This is the long-overdue innovation to cups that so many people have been waiting for.

How does your junk go?
Better than a regular cup, but not ideal. I don’t understand where/how your junk is supposed to go. I am 5’11” 160 with large parts. I ordered a large. If I point everything down they fit inside the cup, but the “wings” of the cup are too big to fit between my thighs at my groin. I can’t run without it losing position. If I point everything up, they don’t fit and it’s very uncomfortable. I play catcher and took a foul tip that hit the ground and bounced up into the cup and I wanted to die. I wish it came with instructions.

The product itself was fine and I could see no problems with it
The product itself was fine and I could see no problems with it. However, when I chose the sizing, the product listing gave completely wrong sizing information. It listed the jock large as 32"-36", and since every company has different sizing anyway, I didnt give it a second thought. The product arrived, and the jock tag read Adult Large 36"-39". I was like "okay, a simple typo. it happens." I contacted the company and the service was awesome and fast. They said that they would take care of the problem and send out a replacement. I got the new one, and it was the same issue. they sent me the exact same thing. I guess they didnt actually read my e-mail that I sent them. End result: I was left with two products that didnt work and had to return both of them, all because someone was too lazy to double check their product description. That said, I have no issue with the product itself, but you're probably better off trying to get it from somewhere else.

Finally, a cup that really protects the boys!
An excellent product! My 14-year old son is a lacrosse goalie and took a direct hit to the boys. He went down, and continued to feel tenderness six days later. At the time of impact, he was wearing a well-padded hockey goalie cup. I went online and saw the video of the person wearing the nutty buddy and taking a 90-mph fastball in the boys with no effect. I was skeptical, but purchased the product. According to my son, it is a great product. The very next week he had two direct hits to the boys and was unfazed. Advice: Buy the jock and cup combination. You will see that in addition to the shape of the cup being very different, the jock does is very different too - it does not have the old-school pouch. The cup sits directly on the boys (skin on cup, boys in cup) and the jock holds it in place. So, there are no gaps. When impact occurs, the force is deflected off to the sides of the cup completely protecting the boys. (For you Mom's out there, it would be like putting on a t-shirt and then putting on your bra. It just doesn't work! This is the same principle). I highly recommend this product.

Better than the cheap cup I grew up with, not as good as a thai cup.
I'm a Taekwondo instructor and I get kicked in the man-bits like it's my job, because--well, it is my job. I've tested out this cup vs one of those cheapo cups you can get with most compression shorts and it's definitely better, but not as good as Muay Thai cup with the strings. The problem with the old banana-cups is that they shift around until they're in a position to hang like a ball-peen hammer in front of your balls. The nutty buddy's shape is very comfortable, keeps it from moving around, and does an amazing job of dispersing the energy from a straight-on shot to the groin. The problem is that your nards kind of rest directly on top of the plastic part that extends between your thighs, and if you take a kick right up the middle, it's still pretty painful. For my money, an old-fashioned Thai cup, with the string that goes up your butt, is way better at absorbing shock from a straight front snap-kick to the groin. I'll probably keep the nutty buddy because it's quick and easy to put on, but it won't be my first choice when it's time to spar.

High comfort
This is the most comfortable cup I've ever used. Generally while umpiring baseball I am aware of the fact that I am wearing one, but so far this season there have been a few times I have gone back to my bag because I thought I forgot to put it in. However, it hasn't yet been tested with an impact, but the videos of it are highly comforting that it will be awesome.

Rubbing against thighs a bit, protects testes very well, but still get some pain to penis.
I like it so far. Definitely fit's the meat and potatoes more correctly than a traditional cup, even when I put the traditional banana cup directly on my skin, as I do with the nutty buddy. I will make one comment though. I took a softball and put it in my hand and knocked it on the NB a couple times with me wearing it. I found that when I made an impact near the top and middle of the NB (where, frankly, the penis resides), and noticed that I felt a bit of discomfort. For the gentleman reading this, it was sort of a duller version of when you hit the head of your penis with your finger. Again, it wasn't the full sharp pain, but it did feel a bit like the ball was hitting my penis directly almost. Now, I bought the Trophy size, which is recommended for folks about 170-210 lbs I believe, from 5'8-6'1 (i believe). I'm 5'8, 160lbs with thick thighs, and medium penis size (albeit I have larger testicles) [ps. sorry for the details, but cmon, they're body parts, and it's not like there's any need for formalities given we're already talking about jocks anyway] but I wonder if I should have bought the MONDO size (for guys 6'1+ and over 210 lbs, their biggest size) to avoid this pain to my penis. Also worth noting, I found that my thighs rubbed against the bottom of the cup a bit. So it's weird, because of my thick thighs i should probably have a narrower model, but I also need a deeper model to allow my penis enough room. Anyway, just my 2 cents. Lastly, I bought the 'large' size jock strap and I typically wear 32' pants and it fits great. Also, I found I had to wear the cup directly on my skin, then put sliders/compression shorts over top of them.

Ugh, it's very small!
It ahs keywords "large youth jock" so I thought it'd be perfect for my teenage student. But man, it's tiny! Like seriously. It's more "mouse" than "boss!"
