I bought this for my mother because she LOVES to learn new languages. She really enjoyed this CD set and within a day or so, she started speaking Chinese phrases! Although this product is not to be considered as comprehensive as a set like Rosetta Stone - this will do the trick to give you basics and quick ways to learn to "get by" if you were stranded somewhere where Chinese was the only language.We went to a local Asian Chinese eatery and my mother started speaking Chinese with the waitress there and her eyes were big in shock and awe! My mother was able to communicate simple requests with ease. I would not hesitate to buy this for somebody who wants to "get their feet wet" in the Chinese world.

独学で広東語を学び始めてまだあまり日が経たない者です。初めてのピンズラーですが、この教材で現在レッスン１０まで学んできました。音に慣れる・声に出してみるといった独学では限りのあることが、この教材のおかげでできるようになってきた気がします。毎日１課ずつ、解らない部分がある課は数日（＝何度か）繰り返して学ぶようにしています。個人的にはこれだけではちょっと大変な部分もあるので、あらかじめ基礎的な発音や文法は学んでおいた方が効果も表れると思いました。

Just Great. I am an audio learner and I love this companies learning method. I started with Mandarin years ago and bought these to add more to my language ability. Very very good to learn the basics correctly and to honor those you are speaking to.
