Great Replacements
Worked perfectly as I wanted! Keeps true muscle sound without the restriction of too much back pressure! Will need the 3 inch plus lap joint clamps if using with 3 inch OD and the 3in OD but joint clamps do not seal both sides together.

$40 Catalytic Converter Works Beautifully!
Needed an affordable catalytic converter since some criminals had cut mine off my Grand Cherokee. Found this beauty on sale and the price was right! Shipping was fast and free. Ordered Friday, delivered Sunday (Amazon rocks!) and installed Monday. Easy Peasy! The Check Engine Light is not on - so far, so good. This unit is TINY compared to the OEM Cat that was on Jeep but it works every bit as good. I thought the exhaust sound would be louder due to the much smaller size but this thing is every bit as quiet as the stock Cat! I'm incredulous at how well this works and looks for the $36 price! I have yet to get my emissions test completed (it's due now) but will update on when it passes.Update 05/21/24: Emissions passed no problem. This cat is quiet but there's a drone to my exhaust now in the mid-range RPM that I didn't notice before. Not a biggie at all for this price point.

Good price, good product.
I like that it fit good, I dislike that it took a little of my noise away from the straight pipes. And my biggest dislike! Is my truck has passed emissions for 10 years and when they did an actual visual inspection, they failed me! At least it didn’t cost $500 like other cat’a cost!

We will see how long it lasts!
So far it's working great. I've had it installed just for a couple days. I had to buy an o2 sensor extension, as I've got a custom exhaust and had to relocate the sensor a little further downstream with this. The cat looks great, the welds are clean and consistent, and catalyst material looks fine. It's supposed to be a 400 cell cat, but it's hard to tell. I had a Magnaflow cat (ceramic substrate) in the past and this substrate looks about the same, but I'd have to put them side by side to be sure.Hopefully it lasts the advertised 50k miles. My engine is newly rebuilt with all new sensors, so it should be good!EDIT: Just got my first P0420 code yesterday. This has lasted roughly around 35,000 miles. I know it supposedly has a 50,000 mile warranty; but, I'm just going to replace it with a more reputable brand that hopefully lasts longer.

Put this onto fix code. After install and testing the code came back !
Hade an emissions code stating converter was bad. Replaced it with this brand new Converter and cleared the code. Next day on the way to getting the emissions test done , The SAME engine code popped up for BAD Converter ! Took the vehicle in to a high tech garage and they tested everything and proved the NEW converter did NOT have enough platinum and other needed metals to properly function.I had to go back and buy a genuine OEM dealership converter and the code has NEVER RETURNED. I asked The Mechanic if he wanted this aftermarket converter for scrap metal money. He laughed and said they give nothing for these. There’s nothing in them of any value that’s why it does not function properly. He actually gave it back to me and didn’t want it. It seemed like a good deal when I bought it at the time, but lesson learned about aftermarket converters.

Does the job what a Cat Should Normally do....
A+++++X10000000=Better or just as good like the factory part. It the price and SS material is worth the buying and of course install costs. I have a Flux gasless mig. So the welder has to be a tig or mig with gas and S.S. welding wire in .039 thickness. It was much cheaper to go to the neighborhood exhaust pros instead of me buying the argon gas and welding wire.Quiet clean exhaust and smooth performance and no vermicelli ....Even though I am European and would love some vermicelli for tonight's dinner....LOL

Does the job
If you have a titanium cat like I had, you might as well remove it and recycle it yourself before thieves do! Wish I had thought of that. This catalytic converter has been on my car now for a couple of years and works great.
