It's great to have all my herbs and spices looking so organised but it's been a lot of work. The jars and lids are good, thick glass with nice little lids. The funnels are cute but the spices flow very slowly through them so I gave up on using them and used my own funnel. The labels are the biggest disappointment. The set comes with black round labels for the lids and neat white labels for the sides. BUT they don't match for example there is a black lid label for Rosemary but not a side label and this applies to many. This bugs me as I wanted both labels on each jar. Also, a lot of the labels seem to have been made in a hurry so are spelled or spaced incorrectly. There were also quite a lot of obscure spice names that I had never heard of despite having an extensive collection of spices and herbs from many types of world cuisine. So I ended up making my own labels which took up more time than I had wished for doing the job! Having said all this, I now have a very neat spice drawer and hope that all the effort will pay off.

A spice jar is a spice jar, no? I guess to some extent that’s always going to be true. These jars, however, look at feel like a good quality product. Each one is consistent with the others and there were no marks or blemishes to be seen. They also look good in a spice rack.The pre-printed labels cover off a lot of the more common options but there would need to be a lot more to cover off all eventualities. Do what we did – write on the blank labels instead. This way you get a consistent look and feel for when you use a rack.You also get a collapsible silicone funnel to help you load the jars – you’re going to need to clean it frequently if you do a bulk upload of different herbs and spices to the jars.

I’m really happy with these. They are good quality & solid. I wanted square ones, as opposed to the usual round, as they waste less space & can be stacked on their side which is a bonus if you have a lot of spices. (I do!) The labels are not as big as the lid and the pen which comes with has a pretty thick tip, so not ideal. Hardly a deal breaker. I think they’re great value so bought another pack …. And a finer tipped Sharpie!

A great price for so many jars. Having read the reviews, I decided to print my own labels, but did notice that the jars do have a slight film that needs to wiped off with a dry cloth first. I wonder if this might be the reason that some people experience poor adhesion with the supplied labels. I use a lot of different spices in cooking and my cupboard arrangement meant that virtually everything had to be removed each time to find the ones I need. A rethink and relocation with consistent sizing has solved the problem completely. I would suggest maybe keeping a list of expiry dates for the spices you are not likely to use that often.

I am impressed with the quality for the price. The spice jars are tick & sturdy, you have a choice of 2 inner pour caps 50/50, I’d have preferred more of the smaller ones, 75/25 as I use the pour on spice versus teaspoons etc. I normal spice jar you buy fills them 3/4 so no waste or overfilling. I bought the clear 3 tier jar shelf and they all fit. It comes with sheets of black removable lid labels with two white pens.
