The media could not be loaded. This builder gel is easy to use for beginners as well as more seasoned users. It goes on smoothly like gel polish but hardens like acrylic. Being a gel, it's very easy to shape and file. For longer extensions you may want to use a thicker builder gel, because you'll need a good apex for strength. That of course takes a little more skill to use, but, that comes with practice. However, this builder gel works beautifully for natural nails or short to medium extensions. My favorite color is the light pink, it's such a pretty color you can even topcoat it and wear and go. This set was a great value for under $20.

I decided to take off my acrylic extensions and grow my own nails out. This stuff is very hard and my nails are growing out very well. It is not very colorful but that is fine as I like the natural look right now. I bought another set that is colored and will use it once they are longer.

I’ve used three different lamps to cure the lacquer on three different occasions, and it stays tacky. After wiping the top layer away, you’re left with a less appealing look. It results in a less shiny, lesser polished look to your nail and I find that it’s also a waste of product.It is a very brittle builder gel, so if that’s what you’re looking for, I recommend looking elsewhere. if you don’t prep your nails in extreme detail prior to application, you can expect all your hard work to peel off within 24 hours or so, and even then it only lasts a couple days (especially if you use your hands heavily doing things like cleaning, cooking, or working.The colors are also not as pigmented as shown. They’re all very sheer lacquers, and I’m sure you can build it up, but if you need more than three layers for coverage I consider that ridiculous and a waste of product (especially for how small the bottles are).So all in all, I do not recommend this product.

I started with the saviland rubber base, which i love too. Prep nail, push back cuticles.Thus builder gel is thinner, and self levels really well. I love it. It was so easy to use and looks great. I flash cure 5 sec each nail.I use on my natural nails and want a bit of shape and more strength. Also, it is BEAUTIFUL. I can do a couple layers, wipe off the sticky layer and do top coat. So it saves time. Or, paint with gel polish and tip coat. Gorgeous.

I would not use this as a builder gel. It's much too thin. It does very well as a gel polish though.
